It's definitely been an issue this year. I wonder what Bill thinks about it.
It's ********.

Instead of Bill having an issue, maybe he should look at what he surrounded Mac with.

O-line sucks
OC sucks
QB coach sucks
Average TEs
Above average RBs w/ Harris missing 1/2 the year
WRs oft-injured.

Mac has every right to be frustrated.

Boomer slinging **** from the cheap seats is drama without context

Give Mac the 2012 offense and a great OC and things are different.

To be fair and balanced, he also said that Brady is douchey for the same reasons as Mac. The only difference is that he has a long track record of backing it up. Granted that is a big difference, hopefully Mac earns the right to yell at coaches and hold his helmet after bad plays.

No doubt he has plenty of reasons to be frustrated, but he doesn't need to let it show so much. Granted, he's kept it under control better the last couple weeks.

Other young qb have been in similar bad situations but don’t yell at coaches or get frustrated so easily, just because Mac is in a bad situation does not justify his behavior in some moments because his job is not to built the team

He should focus on himself and improve the things he needs to improve rather than care about his coordinators etc because BB needs to make these decisions

There is no excuse for Mac to behave like this

Who cares.

If the NEP were the #1 seed no one would give a rats ass.

Who cares? Why are Macs emotions an issue? Is it translating into losses?
If Mac was the QB for any other team w/ his onfield histrionics, you would be saying the same thing as Boomer. I know you don't approve of this.

But we're not the #1 seed. We're praying for 3 other teams to lose so we can back into the playoffs. That's his point. Perform on the field, carry your team to wins, and then you can take a sh*t in the mof for all we care, instead of sh*tting yourself and acting frantic.

The coaches should care and tell Mac to stfu and rather improve and keep studying than worrying about coaches
Are you assuming Mac is not working hard to improve? Maybe he is and the coaching staff is letting him down?

That‘s not of his business , it’s his second year, he has not earned that right
It absolutely is his business and has earned the right. Why hasn't he earned the right? He is THE starting QB. Hes putting himself out on the field every day getting tossed around by large, violent men and the demand of him is to perform.

To not hold those accountable who impact his performance and livelihood is crap. He is not an indentured servant. It's his career. He should own it.

No I wouldn't. I care about wins and losses. Everything else is theater.

No we win on Sunday and we are in.

Rubbish. It's complete BS for players to be ostracized for calling out coaches in the heat of the moment. Accountability needs to go both ways.

He's acting like Rodgers, being a drama queen on the field. Only difference is he always says the right things in his pressers unlike Aaron who throws his teammates under the bus.

He hasn't earned the right to act like that because he hasn't shown he can deliver when it matters. We've seen several young QBs go out there with poor OLs, coaching, etc, like you know most teams have in the NFL and perform. Not b*tch and moan but perform. He needs to stfu and get it done. Enough with the excuses. Stand in the pocket, quickly scan the field, move around to buy time if you have to, and deliver a strike to your receivers. Do that consistently so it leads to TD scores and we'll forget about the rest.

Who's not holding the offensive coaching accountable? Criticizing Mac's on-field antics /=/ absolving the offensive coaches of all responsibility. Two things can be true at the same time.

And of course there is more than one way to "own" one's career. He could also "own" his career by putting his head down and working hard to be great at the things within his control. It's not like the on-field volatility is the only appropriate response.

Agree, so let's get the dubs.

Sure but there's a time and a place for everything. You don't air out your dirty laundry in public. It's unprofessional and looks like he lacks command and confidence.

I see. It's the perception of the player that's important.

Again, why is this important to fans?

He was promoted by his boss- not you- to be the #1 QB. He has certainly earned it.

Please post something Mac has implied something negative towards his teammates or coaches.

So he is an open book on the field. How does that impact wins/losses?

OK so if someone hires you and hands you a bag of **** you'll jus sit there and smile?

When has he done this? During a game? Who cares? Players do this all the time.
It's unprofessional and looks like he lacks command and confidence.
Who cares. Mac *****ing and yelling is the least of this team's problems.

The entire team has performed with a lack of confidence all year.

He's the leader of the team. Everyone freaks out when Bourne says something, or Brown, but when, like you say "the starting QB" acts like a child it's fine?

I get it, you don't care. I'm sure there are a lot of fans that don't care. Except the ones that are booing him. He needs to perform or he's going to lose the majority of the fan base, if he hasn't already.

You are spot on with this. The players on the team seem to like Mac and his competitiveness, so who cares? Him calling out coaches is likely something that gains him the support of the players. FWIW TB12 is always top of the most hated players for his whining to refs, throwing hissy fits and yelling. Anger is an energy after all.

its a mixed bag. It can energize or backfire. If the team loses games and they buy into his rants about play calling then players might stop trusting coaching. And if Brady is always on the top of the most hated players then why wouldn't Mac be for doing the same thing? The thing is you have to win enough for people to accept it.
