Chai. Life.

All gifts that I give are in multiples of 18.
My Grandma always did this too. Maybe I'll start doing it with my nieces and Nephews too. I switched 2 of them to cash for the first time this year the others are still young enough they enjoy a toy. The older ones just want tech now so cash it is.

I think Miami is beating the Jest at least so that will close the backdoor to the playoffs. But it's good to know what needs to happen.
That game is a total disgrace to football. Last 5 weeks a combined 0-10 record heading into the matchup. I thought perhaps Mike White would save the Jets from themselves but he apparently sucks too. Miami's starting Skylar Thompson? That game will be hard to watch. Probably the Jets should win because at this point they have the one decent unit (their defense) of either team.

I think the Steelers beat the Browns. The Steelers defense has been back on track since T.J. Watt returned. So if Miami loses to the Jets, and Buffalo beats the Patriots, then the Steelers will grab the 7 seed if they win. Not bad for a team that was 2-6 with a rookie quarterback set to start the remainder of the season.

45-6 bills win this weekend
I don't know about that. I love our chances in this one. Buffalo's defense has some key injuries this season, especially on the backend. Their entire secondary is in critical condition. Josh Allen has still yet to defeat a healthy NE defense. Unlike last year's Wild Card round game, he will have to deal with a healthy Barmore and Judon. If we can get some guys back and healthy in the secondary, I expect an easy win.

We need to beat the bills . Need at least one signature win to go for post season.

Helps Us set for more success next season and possibly this postseason .

The offense needs to win one game for the team and it needs to be the final game . Throw all conservatism outside the window . No harm in trying .

We sort of hung on by a thread against a tailspinning team who was down to their third string "quarterback."

If by conservativism you mean pass the ball aggressively then please no. It's boring but they need to run the ball effectively, control the TOP, play solid all-around defense, keep the game close, and hope Josh Allen throws another red zone pick at the most inopportune time (for the Bills).

F.uck the public and use common sense.

I guess that's why I couldn't work in PR because the public is reactionary and generally stupid.

So you're right about what will happen. Just don't agree it should happen. Playing football while mourning sucks. Doing ANYTHING while mourning sucks. Yet, we do it.
Agree. We live in different times now.

Hoping that this poor choice of words was unintentional.

He had issues, but he was on a roster. He had played 8 games for them that year and then broke his arm.
Yea my bad. He was cut in 08. Brought back in 09 and was out when he died.

Obviously Damar's health is the most important thing, and football isn't within a fly's pube of importance compared to his health, and I obviously hope and pray for a full recovery from him, but,

Boy it really ****ing sucks that we have to be the first opponent to play Buffalo in Buffalo after that. Figure the place is going to be rocking and the Bills are gonna blow their load on us before petering out in the wildcard

I think if they can beat Buffalo on Sunday then they deserve their spot in the playoffs without any caveat at all.

Even if they lose and still go in through the backdoor way, who would deserve the #7 spot over NE? There aren't any great teams on the playoff bubble. The backdoor would mean the Dolphins lost 6 in a row so I don't think they deserve the spot. Would also mean the Steelers lost when they had a chance to get in. They've won 3 in a row but they also have a minus 52 point differential so why do they deserve it over NE?

Agree re Buffalo though. If my team can't win it I wouldn't mind seeing the Bills get one. That city has been through a lot lately.
Jaguars or Steelers.

Bills are going to be super pumped in front of their home crowd. I think likelihood of pats win agaibst Bills has gone diown

What about your boy Corky?

Wheres all the love for him?

Absent Hamlin's passing, I think Buffalo and the league need to definitely say whether or not their intention is to play the game. Obviously they don't have to explicitly say "we're playing unless Hamlin dies" but they could say "it's our intention to play the game." Seems like they're sort of going through the motions with their team meetings and walk through while leaving open the possibility of eventually saying they can't do it. Their own vagueness probably isn't doing themselves any good either.
