Got my tix! Never been to a playoff game before
Sweet, that should be awesome. Get some good pics to share!!

I've only been to one - Brady's last game as a Patriot vs. Vrabel's Titans at the end of the '19 season.

well whatcha waiting for, come to another one

To me I don't think the gameplan is going to complicated. This weekend will tell Vrabel how tough this team is. The Texans are going to line up and be physical on defense and on offense they are going to run the ball. This will be the formula and to be honest its a pretty dame good one.

This game will test our offensive line. We need to be ready and the big dogs up front need to have their best game this year.

Their backs are small, well I guess I should say not tall. They do this stutter thing at the line waiting or looking for holes. Their running game is underrated and we need to find a way to limit those big carries.

Play with a lead gang. A good start will be important and a little no huddle may not be a bad idea on a drive here and there....

They ran the ball well last weekend, but they are a bottom third rushing team in the NFL for the year.
I don't think their run game is underrated, they just had a good game and we can't let that happen.
Stop the run game and dare Stroud to beat us without Nico, that's really tough sledding for them.
For us on O, it will be tough through the air or on the ground. It will be tough to do either of those consistently, but we should be able to limit the Texans O, so really we need a couple of big plays to win this game.
This might be a 17-13 type of game.
Hoping more like 42-3 for us!

Brown is their starting RT.. Per their Unofficial Depth Chart, the next man up at RT is Blake Fisher. Fisher is also their JUMBO guy.. Jarrett Kingston was used for a few snaps at Jumbo when Fisher started at LT in week 17..

I'm embarrassed I thought he played LT for them but I guess that shows that I only really look at the screen when the Texans defense is on the field lol.

Anyone wanna give a breakdown on how the Texans attacked Allen and the Bills in November? I'd say the Patriots and Bills are pretty comparable in terms of: mobile and accurate QB, a gaggle of weapons but no outright superstars, complimentary offenses (our receiving is much better, but the Bills can still get it done)

Might be a good primer for how they gameplan for the Pats.

It was hard to miss him last week.
His gut was hanging a foot below his belt!

Marks looks like a problem. Chubb also looks like he's on the way back. Controlling their running attack is as important as any aspect of this game, cause they won't score if they can't run.

Of all the recent stats that have been posted on both teams, there's one that's the most incredible to me: over the last 5 games
Mondre has averaged 8.5 yards per carry!!
I knew it was high but not that high.
Texans are in serious trouble

Guessing Trent Brown plays, he finished the game last week, prob just some extra rest for the vet.
I hope so. Him limping around on a bum ankle will only help things.

Enjoy, I have travelled over to attend 13 games over past years, but never a playoff game.
GO PATS ☘☘

Brown and Autry returned to practice for the Texans.

NFL officiating has reached an epidemic level of futility.
That said, I'm not one to buy into the narrative of using that as an excuse, will leave that to Bills fans.
There are bad calls/non-calls in every game, and sure some games calls seem to go more in the way of one team, but over the year I would say most teams get screwed equally.
Do what we do and don't leave the game hagning in the balance of one egregious call.

If it was ONE "egregious call", we wouldn't be talking about it. It was NUMEROUS pivotal calls through the entire 2nd half what was responsible for GIVING 3 TDs to the Bills. Downplaying it or pretending that it didn't completely change the game is ridiculous. Especially when numerous KNOWLEDGEABLE fans who don't typically say anything about it were taking issue with it. How many times has Vrabel called out the officiating during his 7 years as a coach? Because he called them out after the Bills game..

Guards will move their arm as a signal to snap the ball in a loud environment.
Guards are still required to be set when the ball is snapped. Not still moving.
