TE is interesting this offseason. It seems financially that keeping both Henry & Smith is almost certain this year, but both could be gone next year. But due to the high salary for both, I don't know if we could swing one of the better FA TE's this month. We might be looking at picking a high draft pick at TE to groom this year to take over next.

I wonder if Duron Harmon would be a good fit to come back if the Pats lose Peppers, and DMac actually retires.
He just turned 32 - but still playing at a high level last season in LV. He knows this place well, and could be a solid vet to man the FS role while Bledsoe or whomever gets up to speed. He seems faster and still more physical than what DMac has been the last 2 years.

I think the best way to contain Diggs and receivers who threaten the deep field is two excellent cover safetie.

We need to get one of Bates or Johnson.

i don't think that assessment is correct... but my opinion might be influenced by how poorly the raiders secondary performed last year...

I am warming up to Slayton as a WR target early in FA. I knew that he is big and athletic and looked like a 5th rd steal as a rookie but I didn’t realize how athletic he is until I reviewed his combine results. Wow….those are some elite numbers across the board. He may be a guy with untapped upside above and beyond what he has shown thus far.

Addendum: I texted a friend of mine, who is a big Giants fan. He likes him, but says that his hands are very unreliable; seemed to have a big drop almost every game.

A year ago he produced more than Bourne & Agholor. And can back up M. Jones on PR and KR.

agreed, I'm all for Berrios we need to find a WR that can full that slot role so that the offense can function better, I believe 3rd down back is strong jr. Those are 2 important patriots offensive staples
