Someone will want Berrios as their punt returner and backup slot receiver, the role he held on the jets.

For us, he would need to replace Bourne in the slot, and he would be a backup returner.

Makes sense to me. Starting slot WR, depth at PR to spell Marcus Jones who is seeing a ton of snaps between DB, PR and occasional WR. Already has some familiarity with the system. Probably not that much money. Hopkins/Parker/Bourne/Thornton/Berrios? Then extend one of Parker or Bourne during the season to keep your WR room mostly intact for a few years.

i look at the extra 30 million as the "respect" part of the contract, and highly doubt he will achieve all of the incentives, whatever they are...

Well it would be prudent to know what they are before concluding he won’t achieve them. Given the contract and market I really doubt that he would have signed this if they were not attainable.

You can doubt if you wish. I depend on guarantees. It could be a 1 year $40M, or 2 year $50M contract. The agent released a news story about a contract at its maximum value.

You can “depend” on whatever you want but the actual cost the Seahawks depends upon the parameters of that 30 mill.

Hard pass. He has been on a steady decline the last three years and will be 33 coming into the season. We need younger guys that can grow with Mac not an aging stopgap in decline.
