i would love to move on from Parker & replace him with K Allen.

Allen feels like he has one more year left in him though. I could be wrong, but he hasn't been healthy lately

I used to read a lot of Florio and he was always talking about how agents are constantly assessing markets for their clients, even when they're not supposed to be directly talking to teams. Obviously, sometimes this blows up, like Welker thinking he was going to get bigger offers than he did.

Your absolutely right same happened with Edelman during his FA visits.. sometimes your value as a player is greater to the team your currently on than another team.. I'll always advocate for players to get paid as they should!

I still feel Parker does have some value to this offense, he just isn't a WR1 he's more of a contested catch guy.. he's 6"3 definitely athletic, injuries have slowed his career.. but let him compete in camp.. I feel like obtain as much talent at the position as we can and that makes for a dam competive training camp!

i think you are right in that he has some value... the problem I have have with him is it seems like he is never consistent... if he doesnt have shots thrown his way early and often, it seems like he loses interet... then winds up with 2 or 3 targets for the whole game.. get it to him early (at the expense of better players?) then he's involved for as long as you are feeding him the ball... maybe thats just me, buts hes a real feast or famine type player... He'd be more than adequate if he was just more consistent with his effort...

After game one with that blatant PI against Miami that wasn't called Mac went away for that pass. Also a guy like Parker should be getting fades and back shoulder passes we saw neither again he doesn't seem to fit with Mac's strengths. I am pretty sure Bob will see that after his player evaluations Parker is not very good anymore the Phins did not miss him Parker's needle is pointing down.

Oh your right there is some truth to that.. as great at Moss was here he did that as well.. however as you stated when he's involved early he's definitely more aggressive.. his most productive game was against ravens however his best game I feel was against Vikings.

2022 is just hard to gage because we know it wasn't really an offense we had to watch.. I believe all the WRs need another shot in camp to compete under real competent coaching.

That's exactly what Phins fans said after the Trade last year Pats fans are happy now but wait until they see Parkers game they are going to be disappointed. Wish we had our Third Rounder back.

I think we need to revise what we mean when we say someone has lesser athletic ability.

Meyers has agility and wiggle that let him get off the line and deke out CBs in a way that many faster and stronger WRs cannot.

We have to look at the total package when it comes to athletic traits.

Have to wonder if those knee injuries he's had have slowed his career.. he's still a good player I think just not our number 1, however he was out there for every snap on offense.. he'll be in the mix I'm sure with hopefully a true number 1 in here.. but your right fades, back shoulder and side line catches are his fortay..

Should we be looking for some more speed rather than the Allen/Parker option ? I assume that Agholor is gone and then we are reliant on Thornton to progress and be more of a threat. I have seen posts in other threads stating that there is no threats keeping opposing DC's awake at night.....is Allen that guy ?

It's said Meyers needs a Speed WR to compliment him and not a Slug like Parker. The Meyers/Parker WR combo is very slow.

In my humble opinion... outside of Thorntons elite speed that guys not currently on the roster.. I feel we should be looking to add more speed on offense especially outside the numbers.. Myers however was the 1 guy who DC had to focus on as he catches everything.. but not a burner..

I'd take a 80% Allen when he's right he's an absolutely burner especially down the sideline.. he catches everything with his hands, he's a tactician with his routes.. footwork is amazing

Juedy is a name to pay close attention too.. he's on his rookie deal, has everything you want in a complete WR.. wouldn't be shocked if patriots traded for him.. he's young and he could flourish here.

I'll add Two Rookie WR's coming in: I think they are WR's in this Draft who can contribute from day one ie...Jaxson Smith-Njigba - Zay Flowers - Jordan Addison and Josh Downs. I want us to get a combination of two of those guys @ WR no excuses.

I'll absolutely take that!! If those guys are NFL ready then we definitely have something .. even if we drafted 2 WRs and brung them along slowy.. I'd like to explore trade possibilities for juedy, Hopkins or a proven WR that DCs have to respect.. someone that is going to Make sauce work when we play jets.. as sauce is the best corner in the NFL.. want to have someone to make him have to respect..
