I think Arthur Blank is a good guy, I like the Falcons and Matt Ryan. I love that our guys won though.

While I was very disappointed into the 3rd quarter and I really wanted a Pats blowout win this one had to be the very best game I ever saw the Pats play in the end....what an incredible game. As a general football fan you could not have asked for more in an NFL Championship Game. What a dam show that was.

I thought for sure that the game was over after Tom threw the interception. He'd been off on his throws and Amendola was triple covered on that one while Edelman ran free on the cross. Something that Tom doesn't usually miss on. So, I sat with a combination of angst and forlorn hope as they were going into the half and only put 3 on the board. Then, the 3rd quarter started and the defense held the first Atlanta drive only to have the Pats not do anything.. Then Atlanta scored.

After that, it was all Pats.. The defense stepped up. The O-line stepped up. Amendola and White. Edelman pulling off our own "MIRACLE" catch after 2 against us. Bennett..

When they tied it up, I damn near jumped out of my seat.. After they won it, my could hear my SIL muttering about being sorry for giving me so much crap earlier in the game.. But I didn't care.. They'd one.. I picked up my niece and hugged her with her asking me.. "Did your team win?" I answered her.." Yes, sweetie.. they did.." with a huge smile on. The best part was when she said.. "Goodie"..

When Willie was carrying out the trophy, you could see Chris Long in the background on the right side and he looked completely dazed, like he was in disbelief and awe at winning the SB. That was one of my favorite parts of the postgame celebration.

Imagine being a fan of another team in the AFCE:

Brady missed 4 games
Gronk missed much of the season, and all of the playoffs
Bennett was hobbled for most of the season
The defense didn't even begin to get sorted out until Collins got traded

And the Patriots still won the Super Bowl. And, now, they see:

BB coming back next year
Patriots looking to give TB12 an extension
JAG will probably bring in quality draft pick(s)
Patriots have an enormous amount of cap space to sign/re-sign players
Patriots have been installed at 5:1 to win the Super Bowl next year
