Remember when we had Mayo - Collins - Jones and Hightower all on the same Team?? Those where Three First Rounders and Second who said you can't hit on Good Talent in the Draft?? Thanks for Trading away our Future on Defense GM BB your returns have been phenomenal.

Mayo was a 10th overall pick in 2008
Jones and Hightower were the 21st and 25th picks in 2012
Collins was the 20th pick in the 2nd round in 2013

Great that you can sit here in hindsight to cast shade on the coach..

As for Collins, you have a short memory.. He was shipped out because he thought he was better than the coaching staff. Owen Daniels burned him TWICE in the AFCCG for TDs.

And Jones rebuffed the Pats offers on a contract extension..

Why does anyone respond to this gutless lonely loser. He spends all his time on a forum for a team he cant stand and say one thing good about.

Total loser

Rowe is mediocre. But Jason McCourty also looked like crap. We need to give the young guys opportunities to see what we have.
There is no doubt in my mind Bill/Flores are considering that. In Tate, Jones and Golladay have 3 pretty good WR threats.

Rowe needs his coverage to be much tighter.

Stafford is very capable of a big game if this D plays like it did v Bortles.

So, in your opinion, they should just draft guys with athletic ability at positions of need regardless of whether that player has the intangibles to succeed on this team... GENIUS..:rolleyes:

Of course, and you should be drafting guys with Top 5 talent in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds, because that's how it works. Or just bring in every free agent, and trade for all the top 5 talent around the league for conditional 6ths, and pay them all top-of-the-market money, because 'the cap is crap'.

Well it won’t get any better. Don’t know why teams don’t copycat. Linebacker was a big need and they waited late to draft one.
The Titans outfoxed the Patriots by trading up twice in front of them and
snatching Rashaad Evans and Harold Landry. The Patriots then began trading
away picks and settled for Bentley in the 5th round and Sam in the 6th round.

Patriots leaks made it pretty abundantly clear that they guy they wanted was Ragnow, not Evans. And Evans is currently running as the Titans' #4 ILB, which yesterday meant no defensive snaps.

Coleman was just signed friday or thursday. What did you expect him to do on sunday what he hadnt done with the browns and bills ?

He can’t run down the field? Come on really??

Wrong.

At the time he signed his deal Devin was the 2nd highest paid safety in the game.

At the time he signed his deal Cannon was the 2nd highest paid RT in the game

At the time he signed his deal Hightower was the 2nd highest paid ILB in the game

For guards, Shaq is #2 in total guaranteed $.

The narrative of "the Patriots don't pay" is a crock of ****.
Those first 3 names, if not eventually all 4, are also Overpaid.

We have been through this. Players need to know and understand their roles in the offense and more importantly be able to execute them. Coleman doesn't know the playbook at all and Patterson is a liability because he can't run the whole tree.

If you put them on the field "to just run downfield" you are taking many related packages off the menu. You can't run any hurry-up or no huddle which means you can't manipulate opponents to sub to a specific formation that you can repeatedly exploit. Any audibles or pre-snap changes are also difficult.

This is a well oiled machine and not just players running in space.

Well oil machine that the Wr on this team have trouble creating separation.

How many times did Randy Moss just run down the field? Not saying Coleman is Randy Moss but send someone down the field and force the defense to play it.

Gilmore was the only player that stunned me in a positive way yesterday.

Forget the touchdown, beautiful throw by Bortles.
He played at a really high level.

I thought J Jones looked good yesterday as well. Seemed to move at a different speed than the rest of the D.

I think it was too hot out.. hottest weather and Brady goes fumble, then 3and out in the 4th qtr. D didn't have enough time to get a drink of water...

Not sure if posted, but here’s some coverage stats from yesterday.

Something with his team and high temps...
