When was the last time BB pulled Brady with SIX minutes left in a meaningful game that was far from a blowout?

Sorry, but it's not speculation.

There is no firm evidence of injury. Therefore, claims that he is injured are, by definition, speculation, even if they turn out to have been accurate.

it's a stark example of surrender monkey chicken littleism IMO. The day after a convincing win to take their TENTH STRAIGHT DIVISION TITLE, all little NancyBrady can think about is how bad the world is...

Brady is playing hurt, he just doesn’t talk about it. We have seen the exact same scenario several times in recent years, and his play returns to form as his health does. People were making the exact same arguments when he kept playing after Kam Chancellor destroyed his upper leg a couple of years ago. Brady’s play went downhill over the weeks following it but returned to form as it healed. Given that he’s relying on Hogan and Dorsett outside I wouldn’t expect MVP like play but he’s still going to be a serious factor in the playoffs if his knee improves significantly.

LOL, Joker, you never disappoint!

Did you see the Army bowl game yesterday? Army's pathetic QB threw only 3 passes all game long! Sure, they did rush for over 500 yards and won 70-14, but what a pathetic offense! At least that would be the opinion of many here, if it were an Army message board.
You play to win the game. No points are given for style.

That was my point... crying over how few fantasy points the QB racked up is just plain silly.

That is an interesting question. I don't think it was a tough game. The offense made it tough. I don't know if our run defense is any better or we just sold out the throw to stack the box.
It wasn't tough because the Buffalo passing offense was inept and the Patriots defense was totally committed to stopping the run.

The defense was okay today but that's about it. The good news is the Patriots currently have a second seed. The bad news is when the playoffs start the Patriots have to play a competent team which isn't going to bode well for them.
Anyone they play this year will be competent.

With all that has happened this year, and all the comparative struggling we've seen, this team is still that Miami final play away from being the current #1 seed going into the final week of the season.

  • Plenty of fuel for the Homers
  • Plenty of fuel for the Eeyores
  • Plenty of talking fodder for all those in between

Prior to yesterday’s game Zola’s was saying that before home games Brady has, for years, come out early and run the full length of the field and back before starting his throwing. Before yesterday’s game Brady apparently came out, did a really slow jog to the closest 35 and turned around and went back in before starting his throwing, he said it was obvious he was dealing with a knee injury. Given that, Giardi’s report, and Brady’s issues with his mechanics it’s really obvious that he is dealing with an injury.

Could be true. He may not be confident in the players around him.

He may be injured however a tweet about him not completing his warmup lap does not constitute sufficient evidence even if several people take the time to quote it.

There are so many other possibilities. It's hilarious you think that it's just an either or situation

We’ve seen Brady’s mechanics much better in the past and he’s played better with less talent around him.

You quoted the wrong person. Pretty sure you meant to quote @SammyBlueCat

He MAY be hurt however as stated elsewhere, we need stronger proof than speculative tweets (opinions) based on him not being willing to complete his "traditional" warm up lap.

He MAY be regressing. He is 41 years old.

He set such a high standard for so long that just being "good" will look like he has slipped a lot.
He has literally carried this team for many years. He has played at an elite level (for a middle of the road salary) that would in essence mask many deficiencies. We cannot count on that happening for ever.

Why wouldn’t he complete his regular run at regular tempo if he were healthy? Just didn’t feel like it?

That question has already been answered in this thread. Maybe if several posters ask the same questions we will come to different conclusions. Why is he insisting he is ok?

Speaking of Brady and injuries....Gronk hasent been looking great lately but I just watched the re-play of the KC game and Gronk was running just fine in that game...definitely different than the last couple games.

He’s playing in pain most likely. That’s how I see it. Something has been wrong since the knee brace incident

He has always insisted he’s ok, when Giselle claimed he had concussions he denied it. If you don’t want to believe it then don’t but it’s really obvious he’s playing hurt.
