*Threw pass that hit receiver in the hands.

Disagree with you on this one.

While every quarterback has non-interceptions that should have been interceptions, Brady has at least three interceptions this year that are not his fault.

Including this one.

The refs were the great equalizers again yesterday (this was a minor one)..

btw - this actually could've been a catch . esp. the way they are calling it now
different ball game after..

Aside from the Hail Mary trubisky was 7/21 for 75 yards and 2 picks targeting WRs

Edelman was begging the coaches to throw a challenge flag. I'm wondering if they either didn't think it could get overturned (no conclusive evidence) or didn't think it was worth using a challenge (play was on 1st and 10.) I think it's clear he caught the ball or wouldn't have been telling the coaches to challenge it.

"Zero Humans Defense" is my new favorite thing. Here's to hoping it catches on with other opponents.

Bentley absolutely was a starter, but the larger point is still true I guess.

Someone said they thought the LBs were the source of problems on this defense. I'm not so sure. I think it's the line, with Clayborn and Shelton embarrassing themselves on a weekly basis. The only knock on the LBs I have from yesterday, which might not even be their fault, is how often Burton was wide open in the middle of the field. Even then, I think you want a safety in coverage instead of a linebacker.

I don't think any level of the defense is playing particularly well, but if I had to rank them, I'd say secondary > linebackers > line.

I forget who observed this first in the GDT, but for a big man Shelton really has remarkable ability at getting blown off the line.

I've been seeing that remark in tons of threads all regular season. Shelton has been a tremendous liability and disappointment. It's also been observed that Guy is a major stabilizing force on the line, and even he doesn't impress me. I have no gauge on Brown. He's probably somewhere in between Guy and Shelton.

As far as outside linemen go, I'd like to see Wise get some snaps over Clayborn. I think Wise has been part of the problem as well, but Clayborn messes up even when he gets past the blocking. The most important thing (banishing #58 to the inactives list) already happened weeks ago, there's not much else you can do to change things up. I think the return of Simon, whenever that is, will help prevent ridiculous QB scrambles.

Confession time: I have a bit more understanding regarding Gronk's injury. Back spasms are no laughing matter. Had one of those at work, and they're a witch.

Deus claimed that the Patriots pressure on Trubisky had no effect on Trubisky's throws whatsoever. Whether he was pressured or not..

Deus's position is that Trubisky is simply not a good QB and that had more to do with his miscues than the pressure.

It's a fair argument but I don't completely agree with it.

They have Rodgers coming in to town so I guess we'll have more to talk about then.

Trubisky running all over us was embarrassing. No angle of pursuit, he walked in on the TD. Any QB who’s mobile is going to continue to own us.

It's been happening since day 1. Shelton has been bad except for a few + plays here & there but hes been a disappointment.

If Rubisky was half as talented as Rodgers throwing the Football Brady and our O would have to hang atleast 50 and hope for a win. Rodgers would tear that D a new on the Ground and in the Air.

Flowers, Gilmore & Guy have been the best players on D by far.

Shelton has been a disappointment. Brown up & down.

Someone that deserves some love is Thuney. He's played well all year but for we reason doesn't get the love.

Rivers deserves more snaps.

Maybe we could get one of those electrical fence thingies they have for dogs and put one on clayborn to keep within his lanes

I would rather the more Disciplined Wise against the Pack: Clayborn should be Inactive that Night. Brady and the O will barely have Possessions if Rodgers have running lanes like that. It would be a very long and tiring night for our D.
