2018 is the year.

Mosslott polls are like click pens: I know it's gonna be annoying, but I can't stop clicking.

This season because defensive staffs have had all off season to review his 2017 film and find tendencies. See what makes him tick. Some team will crack the code to beating Jimmy G and the other teams will follow the formula.

Brady struggled his 2002 2nd year when Marty Schottenheimer figured out that Brady is less accurate if you move him off his spot.

I’m not hoping Jimmy fails, but it’d be a bit funny just for all the people upset about not keeping both QBs as if it were that easy.

Should be another poll option. Why did the NFL and media ignore that Ray Lewis killed a guy?

Suprised nobody watches film and copies the 2005-6 Broncos D to frustrate Brady. They called it “11 man up” which Parcells used for a while in Dallas. I’ve never seen a defense piss Brady off more. Not even the Giants. He was getting so irritated he started counting how many guys where at the line of scrimmage. Brady was 0-3 against that D.

If he keeps up with the Tiger Woods porn star tour he'll be done soon.

You think Tom would still be frustrated by a defense he saw 13 years ago?

I'm sure teams have watched it and the Patriots and Tom have adapted accordingly.

You're not? I hope he fails miserably.

Maybe. But the Broncos ditched it because teams caught on and they got shredded.

And you changed your Avatar!

It had a lot more to do with talent.

Two future HOFers, one in his prime, all three CBs outstanding, stacked at LB and on the line, good depth. If you look at the other teams who gave Brady trouble it's the same formula. You have so much talent you dominate the rest of the offense leaving him little to no outs play after play. And the 2005 and even more so 2006 Patriots didn't have a lot of offensive talent.

The problem with trying to stop Jimmy is that he is so fast getting the ball out that all he needs is about 10 feet of space between him and a defender to get the pass out once he starts the throwing motion. And on the short/intermediate throws defenders can read him perfectly, know where he's going with the ball before he throws, and still not get there in time.

Jimmy G will succeed at copying his comp...Tony Romo and be a good but not great QB who might win a SB with a very good team.

Well part of me hopes it's this year so that folks' heads around here don't explode, but of course, it will be never according to Murphy's Law. He and Brady will meet in the next 4 Super Bowls, each winning 2, to allow PatsFans.com'ers to debate the Brady vs. Garropollo matter to infinity and beyond.
