This week is the perfect week to see what Stidham is. Choose him as the starter right away, gave him the first team reps in practice and see what he has.

Hoyer made mental mistake that a QB of his experience shouldn’t make. There is a reason why he has lost his last 11 starts.

As for Stidham, he did not play great but he wasn’t put in a situation where he could succeed. He had 0 preparation to run this gameplan, he was running the scout team all week, someone could argue that he was better prepared to replace Mahomes this week. The pick six is not on him.

this angle is pretty bad for Edelman. As the second who really cares. We were down by 16 with 3 min left on the 40 yards line, he took a shot. He under threw it, it happens. It is not like he threw that pick tie 10-10 with 3 min left.

Let's see what we have in Stidham. Don't know what his ceiling is and we won't find out in this game alone but if he's serviceable we can pencil him in behind Cam. A bit mobile like Cam too - might be a good fit.

I think that far too many people have unrealistic expectations of Stidham to be similar to how Brady was when Brady took over for Bledsoe. The situations are so different it's ridiculous.

Will Stidam play better with some practice time? Let's hope so.

Question:
Is the personnel person in charge of selecting Harry the same person who keeps bringing Hoyer back into the fold?

Another question:
Is this what sabotage looks like?

The first person who picks Hoyer should be sacked numerous times while running around like a chicken with his head chopped off.

Did you know ... Ray Lewis killed a guy, quite possibly two

and if you twisted my arm, i'd say stidham...

Vs KC

Hoyer 24 attempts - 15 completions - 130 yards - 62% completion rate - 0 TD - 1 INT - 2 Sacks. After Hoyer calmed down he made some very good throws and decisions. Hoyer was sailing balls in the beginning which led to the INT. A 62% completion rate is workable. The 2 costly mental mistakes resulting in 6 lost points did Hoyer in for the night, but they can be fixed.

Stidham 13 attempts - 5 completions - 38% completion rate - 1 TD - 2 INT - 0 Sacks. Some of his incompletions were dropped receptions just like with Hoyer. The INT in the endzone was brutal. Hoyer was locking on to Byrd. The Edelman INT needs to be caught, but the ball should have thrown at the numbers to where only your guy gets it or nobody does. Down by the goaline is a gift 7 points with not a prayer to tackle the defense from scoring.
How many times have you watched a veteran quarterback flub two field goal
situations due to indecision. He also did not know the team was out of timeouts.

not at all.......just know without a doubt that hoyer is garbage and there’s no point since they can’t win with him

As fans we are so entitled to Brady winning that we are not allowing a 2nd year player acclimatization pains. When we can accord growing room or development time for other players why a different yardstick for QB.

Need to put stidham in a position to succeed and see him across few games . Even Manning had a hopeless first season.

With our coaching and defense stix, should have it relatively easy, but yeah give an extended rope, not a quarter with dropped chances and trailing by 10 points.

Even if Cam is healthy I would say Stidham for 2 reasons. He will have a chance to practice and prepare for Denver, so should be better prepared. The second is this is the week to see if we see any promise in Stidham.

After Denver if Cam is healthy he should take us the balance of the season.

During the last time out, did McDaniels or Belichick instruct Hoyer to throw the ball away if the play wasnt there and kick the FG? Hoyer did not know the last time out was gone which indicates to me that the nobody broached the subject.

Yes Hoyer should be on the same page, but he was in over his head.
