In the spirit of the incredible scientific polls we have on this board, and in order to 100% prove my point, please respond to this one.

What can one say, the man has the IQ of an ash tray. Just kidding Dan,sort of. Maybe, could be. Maybe yes, maybe no.

Maroney ======= Glass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if I've ever agreed with him, but on the plus side, he did coin a fantastic phrase for being injured which will be used for years to come.

Calling someone "made of glass" isn't a new phrase. It's been around for a long time.

I will hate Maroney until one of two things happen:

1) Kevin Faulk is the starter and Heath Evans is the main backup

2) We draft McFadden

I don't care for Danny, but this seems a little inappropriate for a moderator.

Ummm.... Danny didn't coin that phrase.

See, that just proves it. Anyone else would have naturally
voted yes,in a poll where no one has a way of knowing who voted which way.

Ever hear the phrase "he has a glass jaw"?

Don't get to down on yourself Danny. At least you like you.

can we start a poll like this for "national sports advisor" ??? please...

Didn't respond to this one.

I disagree with this whole chicken-little Maroney-is-glass contingent. I don't think they're right. I also think that we're all speculating based on too little data, about a range of future possibilities, and with all that, we're essentially projecting our belief about the immediate present into possible futures. I think this contingent is focused on landing a "great" college running back who might not end up being worth his salt, without acknowledging that there are no sure things.

HOWEVER... since when do we just whip out our polls and specify one individual to take a referendum on?

Come on man, I know we're not supposed to be "made of glass" here, ego-wise, but I don't see this thread as about the "issues" in any way. It's just about going after one guy based on popularity. I mean how ad hom can you get?

Just one man's opinion.

Nice post.

I think this thread is very funny. If I am this far into the heads of some posters for talking about how Maroney is injury proned I can only imagine how fragile these people REALLY are.

Love the double standard on this board. Ha ha if you don't tow the line you get warned all the time for any little infraction. But people can start there own thread insulting me and it stays.

The funny part is I have not insulted anyone in any of my threads for stating there opinion. Yet I have posters border line stalking me and insulting me at every turn!

I have also started numerous positive threads that have nothing to do with maroney. Hypocrisy at its finest!

Ha-ha love it! The coppers wont hold me down!
