Maye for me. From what I've read Williams has an attitude issue.
I think Williams - Maye and Nix made tough throws all year I don't think they had the luxury as other QB's ie... Daniels and Penix Jr.

Penix Jr is throwing to Three guys and Daniels is throwing to Two who is always open.
Then skip these folks.. look at wide receivers who excel with poor qb play and qb who excel or play above par with 0 weapons.

I am more interested in Daniels than Maye, but that's only because I have seen Daniels play and have not seen Maye. Williams, meh. I don't love the hype machine, and him breaking down in his mother's arms, while endearing if I wanted a nice kid to be my future son-in-law, doesn't make me think he's emotionally mature enough to lead an NFL franchise day one.

I have watched more Ewers and McCarthy than any of them.

It's a risk regardless Toofy.

Steve: Ewers is throwing to some nice talent too what do you think of him?? Not gonna lie McCarthy makes me nervous didn't see a lot of Big plays from him.

I hear you, and it definitely depends on where New England finishes. Also realized I probably should have asked "Who do you think will be the better NFL QB?"

EDIT: Just edited it

From my calculations, New England will finish with the fourth pick.

Anybody know how Chicago feels about Both?? I thought Fields played well when healthy this year. I have a feeling if Chicago via Carolina gets the First pick it's Harrison Jr.

I like Ewers a lot, he was really rolling before he got hurt mid season. I am very interested to see how he plays Jan 1. My guess is if he goes out and dominates, he will come out this year and be a first half of round 1 kind of guy. If he's just average or has a bad game, he will go back and increase his draft status next year. I read somewhere that "they" thought he could be a top of the first round kind of guy next year.

I will be watching both games, although I will likely fall asleep during the Texas game.

Love Ewers, but I think we have to swing for the fences and go Willam’s or Maye.

Cards could do everyone a solid and beat the Bears this week. That way, when Bill beats the bag off the Jete, week 18, they are still ok at 2 or 3.

Edit: meant Williams wilted against better teams AND, fair or not, I can’t get past the image of him sobbing in his Mom’s arms after a game.

Just didn’t scream BMF ready to go to war to me.

That's Williams.

Read the story about Drake Maye… Great sports family, Drake the “undersized” one in the family at 6’4.5”, incredibly focused and competitive, doesn’t get rattled … Good coaching should address many things, but some of those intangibles are what make up a person.

You mean Williams

That's Williams.

Why do we associate crying as a sign of weakness. Isn't it a sign of not really caring what the world thinks and showing their emotional side.

Not sure why we consider stoic demeanor and non emotional aspect as signs of success?

I am not saying williams will be successful but just the notion that if you cry you are weak ...

Agree.. but after seeing mac super suspect to draft qb with weapons unless there is film on how they did sans weapons like what mahomes is doing now.

Not saying he's weak, I am saying he may not be emotionally mature enough to lead an NFL team day 1. Maybe.

Crying let's out all negative thoughts or disappointments to begin things afresh . So not sure why we want to label crying as emotionally less mature .

Sometimes folks have too many things bottled up and it causes depression and other mental issues.

I am not saying you are meaning that, but your statement states otherwise.
