He’s been a hell of a lot better than Polk.K Boutte is on the radar now AJ they can't game plan without him now he's has a 90% catch rate based on targets.

It goes without saying we need Tyquan and Baker in the mix. He’s been a hell of a lot better than Polk.
Who's next up? Are they actually better? And are they still developing? If Polk is less than average, if he's dropping passes, then he should be replaced. He's clearly being shoehorned into the starting lineup.
Bourne is there, but he might need a year to get stronger from his knee injury. Osborn can play. Boutte has already carved out a role and may need more reps. Baker is a complete unknown. Thornton should get a fresh start with Maye but Wolf wants to trade him so he won’t… this will look really silly if he goes to a productive passing attack and produces.Who's next up? They've all been demoted we are circling back on the list again so I suppose why not give TT one more shot.Bourne is there, but he might need a year to get stronger from his knee injury. Bottom line is if someone plays poorly, they get demoted… unless Wolf insists you’re a starter, then you have to get hurt for someone else to get an opportunity.
Nobody is Trading for T Thornton he has no Trade Value we should see what he looks like with Maye. Also J Baker needs to get game reps Polk isn't exactly lighting it up. Don't get me started on I never saw a camera I didn't like K Bourne.Bourne is there, but he might need a year to get stronger from his knee injury. Osborn can play. Well they should force Tyquan and Baker in the Lineup too.If Polk is less than average, if he's dropping passes, then he should be replaced. He's clearly being shoehorned into the starting lineup.
There was no WR doing anything worth talking about with Brissett QBing.Boutte has played less than half as many snaps. The only guy worse per snap is Osborne.
Even if he caught the 2 passes he dropped it’s what, 3 for 25?
I think I already answered that. He sucked Sunday. There's no excuses for that. it has to be corrected quickly. Mayo commented on him having to get over "the mental hump." He does, and he has to do it soon, because his performance isn't acceptable. Everyone knows that. No one's disputing it.Brissett didn’t play yesterday, and Polk was worse. How many excuse will you cycle through before you acknowledge a player is accountable for having the worst production in 50 years.
His play time was cut way back on Sunday. If Polk is less than average, if he's dropping passes, then he should be replaced. He's clearly being shoehorned into the starting lineup.
Who says I’m not rooting for Polk? For me “rooting” doesn’t mean ignoring what’s happening and arguing the guy who has put up the worst numbers for a starting receiver in 50 years is doing good. It doesn’t mean making an excuse for a guy who is supposed to be contributing and is doing nothing and then when that excuse is eliminated making another one. There was no WR doing anything worth talking about with Brissett QBing.

He's also a rookie. You ready to cut him? If not, how about rooting for the kid, or is it more important to you to win a point? Because it's a crappy point to further a ridiculous agenda, and the jury is still WAY out on Polk.
Cripes, man, let it go. Yeah, I wish they had fixed the line, too. We're going around in circles. Polk is on the team - every writer following the Pats has said he's got a lot of tools and looks the part and then some...Bedard watched him through training camp and raved about him.
Yes, Sunday he was in choke mode.
Get him out of that mode, and now that they actually might have a QB who can get the ball to his WRs, let's go forward.
I notice that Chad Ryland's doing well with Arizona, with 5 for 6, including a game-winner. They're pretty happy with him. His coach said flatly, "The talent is undeniable."
I'm pretty happy with Slye, too, but the point remains.
It's been FIVE games, including four with a QB who simply wasn't doing anything of note with any WR on the team.Who says I’m not rooting for Polk? I was rooting for Brissett. It became clear that he wasn't going to get it done. I'm still rooting for Brissett - I root for anyone on the team who's not a complete ****head. Why weren’t you “rooting” for Brissett?
A lot of people said good things about Harry and Aaron Dobson and Chad Jackson too.
It’s great if you think he has potential, but be honest at least. He has sucked, epically badly.

Whose? His play time was cut way back on Sunday.
Whose?
Polk played 43 snaps yesterday
YTD he has played 258, which equals 43 per game
He played 100% last week, 65% the week before, 43% Sunday.Whose?

Huh? He played 65% of the snaps Sunday and 68% year to date.He played 100% last week, 65% the week before, 43% Sunday.
He had worked his way through the first 4 weeks to 100% of the snaps in the MIami game.
Less than half this Sunday
It goes without saying we need Tyquan and Baker in the mix.
