Why is that? Do you think they'll misuse the extra picks and pick Tavon Jr.? Do you think that the later rounds don't have enough talent to warrant a trade down?
I have an active sex live so I'm not a draft expert but everything I've been told is that this draft is deep which would seem to imply that trading down isn't a bad thing.
Or is it just the 'waited an extra ****ing month and then they trade down so we're blue-balled until Friday night' thing? That I can identify with.
Over the last 10 years the Pats' picks in the second and third rounds haven't fared all that well (more than half were busts), while EVERY pick in the first round has yielded a starter with staying power. Why is that? I wouldn't say that Maroney had staying power and Merriweather got cut. Watson was always on the verge of becoming the football player that we thought he could be, but has underperformed despite being an incredible athlete and switched teams multiple times.Over the last 10 years the Pats' picks in the second and third rounds haven't fared all that well (more than half were busts), while EVERY pick in the first round has yielded a starter with staying power.

Carr, like his brother, gets a SERIOUS case of happy feet when the pocket collapses. Let some other team blow a high draft pick on him.I personally want Derek Carr as our backup.
I will probably get killed for that, but I feel like if he sat behind Brady for 3 years that he could be great. He has all of the physical tools and after watching how he carries himself on TV, he really seems to be the type of guy that gets "it". Sounds like his head is in the right place (See Johnny Manziel to see what it looks like to have your head in the wrong place).
I laughed out loud. You can have an active sex life while still following college football. Go out and get laid on Friday and Saturday nights. Watch college football during the day Saturday and professional during the day Sunday while worrying why there is such a burning sensation downstairs. Why is that?
