Andrew Luck was a sure thing and we know how he ended. However we are obliged to pick someone and believe he will be our franchise QB with a bit of luck . Unfortunately there is no certain formula for success.

Luck on another team would probably still be playing and possibly having a Hall of Fame career. The Colts literally destroyed the guy.

If the Pats get another Andrew Luck, I think they will be a contender for at least a decade or two. I cannot see the Pats ever having guys as bad as Grigson and Pagano.

People need to realize that if the Bears aren't going QB, then there is an extremely high possibility they trade down and let someone jump us because they can probably still get Harrison at 4. They can set it up so the top 3 are QB needy teams that need to draft that position and then can get their guy anyways. Then they also have another high pick right after.

The best thing that could happen to them is for them to believe Fields works out and they can get the top offensive weapon and probably top defender or OL after that.

If they trade to #4 and want Harrison, the Pats could squeeze a pick out of Chicago to swap places.

I am not so sure the Bears are married to Fields. I think people are overrating Fields. He shows flashes of brilliance, but he still isn’t a great QB most of the time. If the Bears think one of the top QBs are the real deal, they are likely to trade Fields and select the QB. They can use whatever they get for Fields to trade up.

We should send 2025 2nd rounder and our 2024 1st to Chicago for their 1st. That way they get an extra pick and do not lose on mhj . 4th is going to be cardinals who will definitely take him .

This will only drive price up for commanders if they are hell bent on a particular qb.

Look at him. There is no way that this f*cking guy isn’t a bust in the NFL. I thought and said the same thing when I saw these photos of another college QB with elite physical skills playing for a second level program.

If they end up with either Caleb Williams or Justin Fields, that will be the optimal result. With Fields you'd actually pick up an extra pick with a trade down.

Much rather see Fields here than Maye or Daniels.

3. Patriots trade down and take an LT
4. Patriots take a WR and a QB early in the 2nd round

#2:
1. Bears take Harrison
2. Washington takes Drake Maye
3. Patriots take Caleb Williams
4. Patriots take a LT in the 2nd

#3:
1. Bears take Caleb Williams
2. Washington takes Drake Maye
3. Patriots trade down and take an LT
4. Patriots use a 2nd rounder (or 2025 1st rounder) to trade for Justin Fields, then take a WR in the early 2nd

#4:
1. Bears take Caleb Williams
2. Washington takes Drake Maye
3. Patriots take Harrison
4. Patriots use a 2nd rounder (or trade up) to take a QB (Penix)

#3 is my favorite scenario and #4 is my least favorite.

Idk there’s many ways we could go about this. Washington is almost certainly going QB here. We could trade for or sign a veteran and draft Marvin Harrison jr or trade up to 1 and draft Caleb and Chicago pairs marv with fields
