Correct, Adrian Petersen was on it for a full year with the child abuse allegations. Basically, it is paid leave and does not count against the 53. Players are permitted to attend meetings, workouts, and receive treatments at the team facility but are not allowed to play football practice or games.

Even if there are no charges filed for any assault or similar type charge, it's been reported that cocaine was found in a packet in his wallet and that he admitted that it was his (it has tested positive for cocaine). Possession of that alone could draw a serious punishment from the NFL.

If we assume his lawyer is telling the truth (I know that's a YUGE assUmuption), maybe Peppers has a video.

I've long said that these guys are nuts if they don't have clandestine internal video in their homes to counter these types of allegations. Maybe Peppers was smart enough to do this. Still there is the cocaine, unless the video has the woman choking herself while saying "and I'm going to plant this cocaine here for the cops to find" it doesn't look good for Peppers.

It's reported that the cocaine was found in his wallet and he admitted that it was his. The substance has tested positive for cocaine. So, even if all of the other charges go nowhere and he gets a slap on the wrist for the cocaine, the NFL has to take action, and the Team as well.

Peppers is done. Kraft won't tolerate domestic stuff. They dumped Kenyatta Jones when he threw scalding water at his roommate. They dumped Willie Andrews as well. Not to mention the PS Punter who got into it with his dad.

Peppers will be put on the exempt list and then cut. I have no doubt the Pats will recoup money since this is a clear violation of the league's Good Conduct policy.

Hopefully, Peppers enters rehab, get's the help he needs and lives a good life out of the spotlight.

Only way he could be exonerated if he had video evidence of her abusing him and whatever is on the video contradicts her story. I guarantee he’s guilty though.
