People think we're cheating by placing Jeff Demps on IR

And now check THIS one out.

It's from Mike Florio, so it's not surprising. ....
What a collection of fail this article is. Note to Giants, it's unfortunate that you had to endure the hardship of an 89 man roster while everyone else has 90, but if you have a player you don't want to lose, here is a rule of thumb....

DON'T PUT THAT PLAYER ON WAIVERS!!!!!!!!!!

Dontcha just love it when you can cut through all their horse manure and the bottom line is that they're all just jealous because we stretched, without breaking, the rules again and they didn't think of it first?

Personally, I love the symbolism of BB's torn hoodie. He's a real historian of the game and you kind of get the feeling that he'd rather show up on game day in a jacket and tie a la Brown, Landry and Lombardi (not sayin' he'd be a fashion plate out there). But, nooooo, the NFL says he has to wear approved NFL logo gear. Trouble is the NFL didn't say that it can't be "cut off" or otherwise mutilated. Good on ya, Bill!

I dont even get why its "suspicious".. the guy had his knee rolled up on, was taken out of the game, didn't come back and was seen limping pretty badly.

You never take a player at his word when he says he's "fine".

Am I wrong in thinking that there was enough talent to Demps even with the short training camp that BB would have at least kept him on as a KR if in fact there wasn't some kind of injury?

Nah. The guy was playing at 175. He took off a lot of muscle weight to be able to compete world class at the Olympics as a sprinter. It was either IR him now or IR him after he got mauled.

Yeah, why is everyone on the "he isn't hurt" claim? What does the actual IR rule state anyway?

People get confused with NFL Super Intelligence, while bloviating dummies who scratch their heads and say I wish I had thought of that.

LOL......bloviating dummies

Exactly.....
He simply was not in football shape

Florio is an idiot. The Giants could have IRed Ballard without subjecting waivers too if they waited until the cutdown day to IR him, but they didn't want to tie up his roster spot until this past Friday. These are apples and oranges comparisons.

This. They both lost their TEs to acl tears. Yet they injury waived one but not the other. They are at fault.

Bedard says that he thinks Demps has a bone bruise, which can be a year-long thing.

They're jealous idiots, if no injury occured during the game and he magically appeared on IR with some sort of iffy explanation like a twisted ankle then they might have an argument.

IR, spygate, etc

Rinse- lather- repeat.

It's only news because the Patriots have dominated for so long.

If cheerleader Pete did the exact same thing in Seattle no one would notice, even worse....no one would care if they did.

I will happily endure bleats about asterisks and assorted IR whining if it means the Pats are in the hunt for Lombardi #4.

I prefer that to to the cold recess of irrelevance.

That wouldn't show up on an MRI?

Not always. One report I found online said that it apparently takes up to 6 hours for a bone bruise to show up on an MRI. It can be detectable as soon as an hour, but isn't always.

Because they all wish they could be Pats fans...
To any Dallas lurkers reading this... Just convert already. It's okay.
Dallas fans treat the Pats the same way the rest of the league used to treat the Cowboys back in the 90's when they were actually good.

Funny how that worked out.
