Last week before real football, and inspired by the Richards trade thread, calling all sado-masochists from some self flagellation (I can hear @fnordcircle approaching at a furious speed)...

My two picks:
- Laurence Maroney (apparently the greatest Riverdancer in history)
- Jonathan Wilhite (ugh!)

Honourable mention:
- Sergio Brown (I simply cannot let up this opportunity to revive this epic thread).

Hard to top Hernandez for his betrayal of fans due to his inability to control himself off the field

Hernandez was certainly a talented player and it's incredibly sad that the latter part of his life and career turned out the way it did.

That said, I reject the notion that he "betrayed" the fans.

Jordan Richards is not good enough for the Browns.

Jordan Richards gave me the best orgasm I’ve ever had when he was traded.

Jordan Richards can’t tackle a math problem.

Jordan Richards is to football as Stephen Hawking is to football.

Still Guyton. F that dude lol.

It's bizarre that people think players owe them anything.

I mean, besides the fact his "betrayal" was being a multiple murderer and, you know, left several people dead and families (including his own) ruined.

Anyways, I'm not sure I've hated any Patriots players in the last 5 or so years. There have been guys I went against the Patriots fan consensus on. I thought Shane Vereen was thoroughly mediocre. I did really hate Matthew Mulligan, that guy was useless. James Ihedigbo and Sergio Brown were awful. Jordan Devey and that other offensive lineman. Jordan Richards, of course.

I don't know, I didn't really hate those guys, they just sucked at everything (but special teams in some cases) and were put in positions they shouldn't have been.

Hey, anyway I can get some credit for bringing this up? Shout out to @robertweathers for suggesting this could be a thread. Thanks for the love @Mountain_Commando and @Clonamery lol.

These picks are from the BB era.

I’m going with Aaron Hernandez. What a waste of talent. Him and Gronk would’ve taken over the NFL. Every time I watch highlights of past Patriots games and see him make plays, it pisses me off.

Honorable mentions:

Ellis Hobbs. He was the biggest tease. He’d have great position on the WR, then find a way to either fall down or not whip his head around. Had some nice kick returns though. Should’ve had like 3 picks in the ‘07 - ‘08 Super Bowl.

Laurence Maroney. Pick a f***ing lane already! He also had horrible vision. There would be wide open holes but he ran into the pile. He was a pile magnet.

Dan Klecko: Really? He was the Luke Walton of the Pats. He had no business being on the team. Or any team.

Jordan Richards. Always looked like he was learning how to ice skate. That look on his mug during the National Anthem when Butler was crying said it all. “They thought Malcolm was bad? I’ll show them how to play bad football!”

Every backup LB in the ‘06-‘07 AFCCG.

Tony Eason

Long time ago...but i remember sitting on those steel benches at Foxboro watching Eason play very scared. He had a lot of talent...but he was constantly hearing footsteps. Grogan was the epitome of tough...Eason was not.

Their are some posters here that disagree about my feelings towards Tony Eason. Their my feelings....get over it.

I don’t really dislike or disregard any players because of talent or being injured. I do have a certain level of animosity towards players who did things untoward or put themselves in bad positions which affected their ability to play. Players like Hernandez and Irving Fryar and what’s her name, Teresa Glenn.

Hard not to start with Hernandez. Zeke Mowatt for the Lisa Olsen incident and Victor Kiam for basically doing nothing. The team sucked at the time and that incident just made them look like the pathetic orginazation they were during the Kiam regime.

Eric Alexander was way worse than Guyton.

Apples and oranges. How many snaps did Eric Alexander actually play on defense? He may have started a game or two due to injury but Guyton was a full-time starter for multiple seasons.
