take a look at their schedule, they have tough opponents. they will go 6-10 and have a top 15 pick

In that conference and in that division, they may very well go deep into the playoffs, hopefully they go 5-11 or worse.

I'm not crazy about the trade for a few reasons:

-San Francisco seems to be an up and coming team so I think they could have a pretty decent team next year, making the pick lower.

-They play in a terrible division in a terrible conference so they can have a pretty mediocre team and still win quite a few games, as well as making the playoffs because the competition around them is so bad.

Overall I think I can live with this trade though. Clearly they didn't see a player available who they liked enough.

How does this help the MLB situation in 2007? Patriots should have used this pick as they have no 2nd rounder.

I'm sorry, but we got ripped off on this one...

Dallas traded the 22nd pick for the 36th and the Browns' 1st round next year.

We trade the 28th pick for the 110th and the Niners' 1st round next year.

However well you think the Niners are going to do next year I would be stunned if the Browns did better.

Dallas got WAY more value for a pick that was only 6 spots higher.

That is pretty light weight, they really could go 10-6 and win the division. Other than the AFC games
