Ok chicken littles - lets look at this 'rip off' trade in another way. Unless the 49'ers make the playoffs (possible but realistically improbable) - that means Pats could probably pick from #15-20. Note: I am even being conservative and NOT saying picks below 15 ! ( due to not being related to Nostradamus).

Lets look at this years picks from 15-20
# 15 Lawrence Timmons -OLB
# 16 Justing Harell - DT
# 17 Jarvis Moss -DE
# 18 Leon Hall - CB
# 19 Michael Griffin - S
# 20 Aaron Ross - CB

Wouldn't you want next years version of them (that level of talent ) on your team for 5 years ? (rookie 1st round contract). Isn't that worth waiting for ?(or possible even better pick # 1-14). Isn't that worth a 4th rounder this year to wait for?
Or would you rather have Harris, Weddle, Pos, Jarrett, etc for 5 years instead?
