Hasn't that been heavily implied? I'm not the doctor I just read things
If I remember correctly Jones has the same injury Gonzalez does which just put him out for the year apparently.

As much as this is good for this year, I think that they also like having him on the hook for three more very cheap years. So, assuming he does ok, maybe next year he takes over the Myles Bryant role?
Yeah, I think they'll be happy to pay him next to nothing this year to see how he's doing, and assuming he's able to play something like 80% or more of his level when he was here previously, they'll be happy to carry him year-to-year on a non-guaranteed $12M annual salary for 3 more years. If he's not, they can just cut him for zero dead money, or they can try to negotiate with him to lower his salary to avoid being cut.

I hadn't seen it implied. I was just asking because I hadn't seem much on Marcus at all... I was hoping you could point me in the right direction.

I know he had a run and got paid where we might have thought to be a #1 corner, but did you see those Buffalo games?

And he can't cover anybody in a Buffalo or Miami uniform.

A lot #1 CBs can't cover Diggs, Hill, or Waddle. Two of the three of those guys are elite and one isn't that far behind. I never said the guy would be Revis in his prime or even what Gonzalez was giving the Pats this season. But a good #1 CB can cover most #1 WRs, but still can struggle quite a bit with the elite ones.

Is Jack Jones eligible to return this week??

Stefon Diggs rapes him on the football field anyway. BB obviously don't trust Jack Jones with his issues thus this move. We need to make a move for the Offense.

That's your take? Seriously? 4 of the top 5 CBs and 5 of the top 7 are injured and you think this has to do with Jack Jones? Your bias is blinding you to reality.

you mean the jack jones who is on the IR?

i suspect our defense will score more TD now than our passing offense

He can't handle Diggs. We know that. Jack Jones may be able to. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.. The fact of he matter is that 5 of their top 7 CBs were injured. 1 of who is gone for the season in Gonzalez. Jon Jones should be back this week, but Jack Jones hasn't started practicing yet. They can't afford to have Bryant on the Boundary. And, for whatever reason, they haven't reached out to Terrance Mitchell, who would be an upgrade over Bryant.

Having Jackson give them another guy to play opposite Jon Jones. It allows them to push Bryant back into the middle with Wade. At least until Jack Jones returns.

This means he doesn't have to travel far for his court apperances
