Pats probably will need to play BOTH Pitt and KC in playoffs

NFC champ outta be tough, if we lose to Dallas in the SB it's not a massive failure. However, there's no excuse for us not to make it to Houston.

Color me someone that doesn't think Dallas is a big powerhouse that the media is making them out to be.

The same knock people give the Pats, I'll apply to them. Who have they really beaten, besides the Steelers and Ravens, whom we've beaten ourselves?

A Green Bay squad during a huge downswing when Rodgers was playing the worst ball of his career? The Bucs and Jameis? Meh. They couldn't even split with the Giants.

Not too scared of them.

We lost one game with a suspended Brady, injured Jimmy G and our rookie QB Brissett with a torn ligament in his throwing hand. The other loss to Seattle, we had the ball at their 1 yard line to tie and just couldn't punch it in unfortunatey. We just as easily could be undefeated.

That's why I think anything but a Super Bowl victory is failure.

Kansas City, outside of yesterday's broncos game, have played a lot of close games in the last couple of months. they don't look as impressive as i first thought. I mean they lost to the Titans a couple of weeks ago.

so?!? you want to go to a superbowl and win it? you have to beat two teams that want it also,,,,,,,

I agree with this sentiment. I don't think there's a team in the NFL right now that is head to head better than the Patriots. Or, say the Patriots played a best-of-seven series against any team, I think they would win pretty easily in any series. That is not to say they are going to cruise to the title, since the NFL's one game elimination leaves no margin for error and the end result has some luck mixed in. Put simply, whatever fear one has of potential Patriots opponents, those opponents should be much more scared at the prospect of facing the Patriots.
