I think you are confusing Thomas and Chancellor. Thomas is the best pass defending safety in the league but isn't a great tackler.
Thomas spends a lot more time in the box than a typical Free safety

We'll have to agree to disagree. Thomas is the best single-high FS in the league I believe. And I'm one that thinks McCourty is right up there too.

I think i would put McCourty over Thomas, but obviously the Pats secondary would need to retain Revis and McCourty

When he's healthy, Thomas is the best S in the NFL. So it's not a slight on McCourty. It's more or less just recognizing Thomas.

As much as it pains me to admit and say it, Seattle has the better secondary. I think when it comes down to it, like everyone else is saying, safeties are where they inch past the Pats secondary.

Definitely the Seahawks. Patriots might be #2, although that isn't as clear as the Seahawks being #1.

With all players at 100%. Edge goes to Seattle due to Thomas and Kam. Now just CBs? I will take ours over theirs any day of the week

Revis and Sherman are close but there is a Grand Canyon sized gap between our safeties and theirs.

Earl Thomas and Kam look like HOF's.

As of Sunday night:

Malcolm Butler > Sherman
> Chancellor
> Thomas
> Maxwell
> Lane

Being a f****** rockstar trumps all-

Cry CL crybabies...CRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Stick THIS up your whining azzes sideways...

I voted Pats but it is sooo close and really is more what you want from your secondary. I think the starting corners are a push while their safeties are clearly better. What makes it tough is the Pats depth. When Dennard is your 4th corner (IMO he would be a better #2 then what 2/3rds of the league has) that is insane depth. Over the course of a year depth is what wins you championships because very few players make it the entire year without needing a rest or getting banged up in some way. So what are you more interested in HIGH quality starting foursome, or the ability to send out 7 good to very good options? I'll take the depth but I understand why some people would choose the higher quality starters.

They're all banged up. Now try this when theyre healthy and let see what happens.

Better nickname: Seattles Legion of Boom or Pats Island of Doom?

Patriots, because lalalalalalala not listening to you all.

I'll take NEs corners any day, but as much as I like DMac I'll take Seattles S duo over ours.

As a collective Seattle has a better secondary to me. It is because there is a harmony between them, they have been playing longer than Pats secondary. Revis, Browner and ( in some way ) Chung are new pieces and need time to be better as players and of course as a collective. Therefore it is so important to keep them together. But If I have to choose one, best player it will be definitely Revis.

there big 3 all had big injuries and still played good. the pats have a better system defense cause BB will find the best match ups for his guys but the Seahawks just run what they run and tell you to beat it IMO as far as just talent goes its the Seahawks and its not even close
