Q: if the Ball fumble that was ruled "forward progress" why did the refs spot the ball at the point where he reached out with the ball?

If his forward progress had stopped and the play was over, then reaching forward with the ball wouldn't have counted for additional yardage. That's how he got the first down. If you're going to award him the yard from stretching his arms out, then it's a fumble.

It's interesting that Green-Ellis appears to be running more like a bobcat than a bulldozer at present. I get the feeling he's being a little too patient waiting for run block execution and holes to present themselves.

What it showed to me was how many uncalled holding penalties the Broncos were committing on offense.

4th and 17 or something with 2 minutes left, can't throw it away, with someone like Tebow, Newton, or Big Ben the play isn't over until the ball is out of their hands or they are on the ground. They can always make something happen, Tebow actually had a chance to gain positive yards of he broke off to the right instead of left when he started moving backwards.

Two ref crews work Denver games twice and suddenly, MIRACULOUSLY, the Mike Carey crew appears in the biggest, most watched and hyped game of the season....but it's completely legit. Just watch the replay...it's just incredible how blatant Carey is.
