do the Falcons count as better competition? They beat the Bills, but got smoked by a Dolphins team that seemed to have given up. Do we have to wait for the Bucs to see where we are?
If you couldn’t tell from the rest of my post, I’m not taking anything away from what this team is doing. Just that I’m excited for bigger games against better teams. Prime time games, high energy, crowds rocking.

8 AFC teams better than pats

KC, Denver, Chargers, Colts, Steelers, Bills, Ravens with Lamar, possibly Texans
I can live with KC out of respect, but the Steelers are already fading (so they are irrelevant).

But you have to back up your claims regarding the Chargers, Texans, Colts and Broncos. Ravens with Lamar will be a pain in the ass, but they aren't going to make the playoffs unless other teams implode. Pats already beat the Bills and have only gotten better since that game.

Cleveland likely will draft either Ty Simpson or Fernando Mendoza if either available.

A couple of those sacks were absolutely on Maye.
Agreed. Drake is great, but he does not get the ball out fast very often. Now the benefits of having a great down the field passing attack outweigh the negatives, but the one negative is the sacks. Below is a link from a couple of the Athletic guys discussing this very issue. It starts about a minute in. You only have to watch a couple of minutes or so but this is just not on the offensive line.

It's not, but you know what? He'll figure it out, he's 23.
Might not figure it out this year. But I think he will eventually.

But you have to back up your claims...

This is Sam you're talking to. The same Sam who during training camp was singing the praises of Josh 'MIA' Simmons as the steal of the draft while simultaneously telling us it was far too soon to say anything decent about Campbell 'cause he hadn't shown anything yet. Sam ain't gotta back up ****, he's... Sam

Everything goes through Bijan Robinson for them and our Run D is Elite. Penix Jr can't outduel Maye in a shootout. Also you would think Kyle Pitts would be dominant in the TD department: he's very underwhelming there. I think we win in another Blowout: Gillette is now HFA happy days are here again.
Bijan might break our string of not allowing any RB to gain 50 yards against us.

If he doesn’t we will win.

As the season goes along here i expect the games to start getting flexed out.. wouldn't be surprised to see the bucs and next bills game flexed..

And Kyle Pitts don't forget about him.. TEs have been our detriment..

Only now realizing that Jerry Jeudy didn’t even have a target all game. Gonzo getting healthy?
I recall seeing him targeted. He was locked up with Gonzo after the play. May have been some chirping going on.

Is there anyone on another team you're not scared of? Serious question.

Last week is was Quinton Judkins (10 carries, 18 yards).

Bijan is the best RB in the league. If he gets 75 yards instead of under 50, I don't think it's some sort of disaster. And he might not. Miami shut him down yesterday.

Jerry Jeudy - 2 targets, 0 catches.

Gonzalez put him in jail.
Did somebody say Jerry Jeudy?? I can't help it.

Did somebody say Jerry Jeudy??
Yeah bro. Another overrated, totally checked out WR now that he got paid.
Another player who plays for losers. It's not an accident.

People like you thought the Broncos were crazy keeping Courtland Sutton and trading Jeudy.

I have a serious question too have you seen our coverage against TEs?

I mean look at his QB Felon Gabriel. It's criminal that guy is Starting in the NFL.

They actually answered 2 of the 3 questions people want to know. How will they do against a really good defense. How will they do against a good runner? And how will they do against a quality passing attack?

Well, they put up 285 passing yds, and 3 TDs in just 24 passes. They Rushed for 177 rushing yds, and they put up 30 offensive points against one of the top defenses in the league. They only thing we didn't find out is how they will do against top QB's. Well we will find out soon as Mayfield, Allen, Stroud, and Jackson are coming up in the next 45 days.

Sure.

It's really been a big problem. The Patriots could have won by 26 instead of 19 yesterday.

And Kyle Pitts? Had the best game of his career yesterday. 9 catches, 70 yards in a blowout loss, most of it coming in garbage time.

No, I'm not concerned. If not covering TEs is your worst issue, then you're doing pretty well.

Wildcard why settle for less?? I think we are playing for the #1 overall spot: all or nothing.
Why settle for all or nothing.

All, or almost all.

Don’t settle.

Jeudy's just another overpaid loser.

I wish people would take this stuff into account. He DOES NOT START on the Patriots as they're currently constituted, btw.
