"That's the plan I think". I wonder what BB thinks about him saying that.
The way Mac said it, that comma sounded more like a question mark, with "I think ... " starting off his next sentence.

No kidding. How difficult is it to spell "ask" properly?
I will say, it's easier to say "aks" than "ask" - which I realized as I sat here like a crazy person saying it before I typed this.

I agree it's easier to say....but type?

Yeah, I could picture Belichick saying "you're already on thin ice kid, now you're telling the media that it's 'the plan' for you to start? Who told you that?"

I know Bill is trying to get more urgency, composure and attention to detail from Mac, but if he gets the sense that Mac just presumes he'll start regardless of what he does and it's a foregone conclusion, Bill will do the opposite and sit him no matter what.

Yeah hard to say for sure listening to it. "That's the plan I think... I always work really hard-" or "That's the plan. I think I always work really hard-"?

Blew my mind when I read about how "aks" instead of "ask" came to be.
Oh wow... this is probably different from what you'd read, but that was quite the short but deep rabbit hole. I guess it really used to be based on the Old English word acsian, with usage going back over 1200 years for aks, axe per the 1st English bible, or ax per Chaucer and countless others. I wonder if someone made the executive decision (not Queeen Elizabeth I) to not have a homonym for a sharp weapon/tool. I'M GUNNA AXE 'IM. Weeht what? Don't Kell 'Em... Nuooo Nuooo joost acsin' 'im a keschun!

For me, it was introduced decades ago by the classic Delta Airlines Ebonics commercial. I guess I shouldn't be judgmental anymore regarding its usage, as I had thought it was just lazy. It's just like Mom high waisted jeans - making a comeback.

Mine too. Damn shame hes made some petty horrible decisions lately.

As most know, Willie was the locker room police back in the day. I remember an interview he did with Mike Lynch about that topic how other players didn't mess with him. Willie went along with it and said there was one player who he did not want to mess with - Stephen Neal. I remember in the interview Willie said, "That dude is scary. If you mess with Stephen you better be ready for a war".

Here's how the Patriots transcribed his answer:

"Hope so. I mean, that's the plan. I think I always work really hard for that, really put a lot of attention and detail into the week, like I talked about. A lot of that decision making is things I can't control, but I can control my attitude and my effort like I talked about, and I'm really thankful overall to be in the NFL and be playing quarterback on Thanksgiving. It's a great week to be grateful for a lot of things, and to play this game, the game that we love, together, I think that means a lot to me regardless of the situation."

I hate Mac's pressers. He always sounds scared.
