No kidding. How difficult is it to spell "ask" properly?Blew my mind when I read about how "aks" instead of "ask" came to be.

The way Mac said it, that comma sounded more like a question mark, with "I think ... " starting off his next sentence."That's the plan I think". I wonder what BB thinks about him saying that.
I thought the same thing."That's the plan I think". I wonder what BB thinks about him saying that.
I will say, it's easier to say "aks" than "ask" - which I realized as I sat here like a crazy person saying it before I typed this.No kidding. How difficult is it to spell "ask" properly?
I agree it's easier to say....but type?I will say, it's easier to say "aks" than "ask" - which I realized as I sat here like a crazy person saying it before I typed this.
Definitely not. I mean "a" and "s" are right next to each other in that order.I agree it's easier to say....but type?
Yeah, I could picture Belichick saying "you're already on thin ice kid, now you're telling the media that it's 'the plan' for you to start? Who told you that?""That's the plan I think". I wonder what BB thinks about him saying that.
Yeah hard to say for sure listening to it. "That's the plan I think... I always work really hard-" or "That's the plan. I think I always work really hard-"?The way Mac said it, that comma sounded more like a question mark, with "I think ... " starting off his next sentence.
Oh wow... this is probably different from what you'd read, but that was quite the short but deep rabbit hole. I guess it really used to be based on the Old English word acsian, with usage going back over 1200 years for aks, axe per the 1st English bible, or ax per Chaucer and countless others. I wonder if someone made the executive decision (not Queeen Elizabeth I) to not have a homonym for a sharp weapon/tool. I'M GUNNA AXE 'IM. Weeht what? Don't Kell 'Em... Nuooo Nuooo joost acsin' 'im a keschun!Blew my mind when I read about how "aks" instead of "ask" came to be.
A little more context to the above, Mac didn't make it sound like it's a definite:

Mine too. Damn shame hes made some petty horrible decisions lately.Willie McGinest
He needs to see Mark Davis's stylist. If anybody can improve on that abomination its that person.Dude needs a new look and needs to lose the Berlin ‘37 haircut.
That is Mac’s planSounds like just poor wording from Mac maybe.

I hate Mac's pressers. He always sounds scared. Here's how the Patriots transcribed his answer:
"Hope so. I mean, that's the plan. I think I always work really hard for that, really put a lot of attention and detail into the week, like I talked about. A lot of that decision making is things I can't control, but I can control my attitude and my effort like I talked about, and I'm really thankful overall to be in the NFL and be playing quarterback on Thanksgiving. It's a great week to be grateful for a lot of things, and to play this game, the game that we love, together, I think that means a lot to me regardless of the situation."
My translation would be reporters suck and just constantly throw out pure speculation masked as reporting. And that a lot of Mass residents are not pro gun and let him know about it on social.can someone translate?
