Yep didn’t come up, to be honest the all vaccines are evil is a recent thing. The other week she cut herself good on a rusty fence and I suggested she get her Tetanus vaccine which would make sense she’s about 11 years since her last one.
She said she researched the vaccine and didn’t need itz
I was like what do you mean?
Lead to a big argument.

@ChrisR2223 Man, she's endangering everything you two are creating together, including the lives of your children (assume you have at least one from the photo). Even some life insurance policies won't pay off if a person actively avoids basic health care and it leads to their death. Plus, the sources she's listening to that arrive at these absurd conclusions will misinform her about everything in life.

This is extremely personal so I'm hesitant to even type this stuff, but it is also really important so doing it anyway. Hope not to offend. Please take it as intended.

There’s tons of beautiful women out there cscirpoli.

Plus, this is by far the least significant factor in success and resilience in a long term relationship.
And what we see if completely subjective anyway, and in many ways, just a choice to be made.

The fact cam Newton isnt much better than a rookie who just got here is cause for concern IMO. Also their throwing mechanics are night and day per the videos.

My guess is bill starts the season with cam. But at some point he breaks down or gets injured and we go with Jones.

Just piling on a guy who is struggling. I don't know why people have to hate on a guy so quickly, it is ridiculous.

We all know that many wrs emerge in their 3rd year and Harry has had to deal with injury and a covid season with Cam.
It's not hate. It's an assessment. He hasn't lived up to his draft status, is oft-injured and hasn't performed while in the same offense the last 2 years Meyers - an undrafted kid is kicking his ass.

We know WRs emerge after 3 years? Really?

By what metric are NFL teams "better off" buying a "top ten" receiver as their #1?
  • 1. Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins: $27.3 million
  • 2. Falcons WR Julio Jones: $22 million (Now with Tennessee)
  • 3. Chargers WR Keenan Allen: $20 million
  • 4. Cowboys WR Amari Cooper: $20 million
  • 5. Saints WR Michael Thomas: $19.3 million
  • 6. Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill: $18 million
  • 6. Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr.: $18 million
  • 6. Giants WR Kenny Golladay: $18 million
  • 9. Bears WR Allen Robinson: $17.9 million
  • 10. Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett: $17.3 million
So the average is $20M. And the wins of those same teams?

Avg wins per season of teams with top ten WRs would then be (I left Jones on the Falcons even though I know he's on the Titans now - Texans/Cardinals for Hopkins was 39 vs 31 so you could add almost a quarter of a win per season to the below #):

8.24 wins per season (it's 8.4 if I use Texans wins)

In 2020, the top ten WRs by yards were exactly two of those guys:

Hill
Hopkins

By total receptions it's just one:

Hopkins

Same site - by reception/yards per game (probably the better metric of impact in a season - and even that top 10 has only a couple players on perennial winning franchises):

Hopkins
Jones
Hill

So given that data (and there has to be some correlation of salary to stats...there is a salary cap in the NFL) what it looks like that statement above is saying is that nowadays you're better off with Tyreek Hill because he's the ONLY one that is paid like a #1, produces like a #1, and actually is on a consistently winning team (the ultimate metric to most).

Also not measured is that the top statistical WRs are likely that way not because of "skill" alone, but because their teams tend towards being behind and therefore have to throw more to try and come back and a lot of times against prevent "give up receptions/yards for clock" defensive alignments.

So I'll close with the same question I opened with - what is the reason why it's better to use limited salary cap space for a "#1 WR" nowadays and how (without hindsight) can one know beyond a shadow of a doubt that WR "is"/"will be" a consistent #1?
Great stuff.

Let's no exclude some of the underlying reasons teams overpay for star WRs
1) To hopefully elevate a mediocre QB (Beckham) . The problem with this solution, the QB is still mediocre
2) So team has a star to help sell tickets (Larry Fitzgerald). Maximizing revenue is priority one for every owner.
3) Missing piece to the puzzle (Diggs)

From an economic/salary cap perspective, slotting 10% or more in salary cap to a player that secures the ball on average 6 times a game is terrible long term formula.
The excessive contract causes many problems:
1) Limits roster building flexibility
2) Minimizes team depth
3) Places undo pressure on game planners to feed the high price stars (Moss in Minn.)

BB, the Economist, had it right for most of the past 20 years: Build around unappreciated/low cost slot WRs and undervalued TEs (relative to star WRs) who impact both facets of offense.

I'll also add - if I were to 100% GUESS (as I have no insight) I'd posit that Algholor is the Patriots attempt to replicate what the Bills got out of Diggs (who does show up on a lot of my last post's statistics) last year. I.E. taking a flyer on a Top 20/25 WR that has shown some indicators (he was high in yards per catch and TDs last year) of breakout.

Again, just a guess, but a logical thought process of what they thought they could get at a certain price point given the other needs of the team.

Mac has great throwing mechanics, just perfect. Hopefully that leads to some great seasons. I thought Josh Rosen had the best mechanics of any QB coming out in 2018, didn’t seem to matter, he’s been a huge bust. He really hasn’t been given a great chance, but if he hasn’t wowed anyone by now, he will probably never become a good starting NFL QB, anywhere. Hopefully Mac winds up being 100x better.

I agree with you but Harry's timing could not have been any worse coming in 2019 and wrecking his ankle for half the season and then getting broke Cam. I don't have much hope for him overall but I am pleased to see him performing well in TC.

Aye but how many would marry you?
Probably 1 or 2 lol. I’m no Brad Pitt (but I’m not quasimodo either), but I have a ****load of confidence and I know I’m not a bad person. People who know me, seem to like me. One married me, and two others wanted to get engaged (different times obviously). So possibly 1 or 2 might be interested.

I'm more looking at the 15/19 with two passes dropped. That's some good throwing.

Trust me I understand.

There has been good news, but Agholar has a continuing problem of dropping passes behind the defense. Meyers has been perhaps the most consistent WR, but the value for those 3 is out of whack. Huge $ for the 2 FAs who will not bring the value of, say, Rashod Bateman. Still paying for the bad drafting. Group will be improved without a doubt, but looks like a merely average group to me with 3 NFL quality WRs and no top 10 guy.
3/15 is not out of line for Kendrick Bourne. We'll probably see a similar contract for Jakobi Meyers when his rookie deal ends.

Agholor was more of a risk. They paid him in line with Cory Davis, Will Fuller, Tyler Boyd, Curtis Samuel...if he plays similar to last year, that's his value.

No question buzzard's luck has had some factor in his development and production. However Meyers has been here the same amount of time with a couple 100 more snaps with the same QBs in the same offense and has basically doubled Harry's production.

I'm glad a joke can be completely disected and analyzed so completely.

The in stadium practice , is this more of a walk through rather than a full on pads session ?

Good to see White get on the board with one of the big plays yesterday. Things had been oddly quiet for him. The RB roster battle seems to have gotten more complicated, with Michel and Bolden exceeding expectations so far but White and Taylor not making much noise. Taylor does have the advantage of being under contract through 2022 (and RFA in 2023), while the other three are set to be free agents next offseason. Maybe Bedard's prediction of a White trade isn't that absurd after all.

So possibly 1 or 2 might be interested.
Do they know you are a.....
