It's not necessarily a matter of missing time, it's about how effective you are. Welker didn't miss any time, but he had easily his worst year of his time here. He wasn't as effective.

That's the trend for WRs coming off that type of injury. They can make it back the next year, sure, but they will be a noticably reduced version of themselves for that season usually.

Also, Diggs will basically duplicate what Pop is in this offense, so where's the plan?

Diggs is boundary. Pops is slot.

He may be a 31 year old head case coming off a knee injury but he is better than anything we have. I don't know what the money is and I don't really care because it shouldn't prohibit us from making other moves.

I don’t think Diggs is a “ head case” any more than Moss was a “ head case,” they are just guys who want the ball. Pickens, Antonio Brown, and players like them are head cases.

If he’s not the next Faulk, Sanders, Peterson, Barkley, Henry he cannot go that high.

You take Hunter if he’s the BPA because you don’t want to rely on Diggs.

If Diggs has anything left and Hunter is a future star, their offense transforms over night.

Unfortunately, with the Giants signing Russell Wilson, we will miss out on Hunter. Unless we trade up. Would love to see Hunter and Diggs together though.

Russel Wilson is a one to two year "Bridge" QB. It doesn't take them out of the running to draft a QB in the 1st Round.

The Giants signed Wilson for one year and Adam Schefter said that the Giants still are linked to drafting Sanders. Wilson doesn’t change that according to Schefter.

I've been saying the same thing quite a few times. Wilson is a placeholder. They still will probably draft a QB in the 1st Round.

I love this. He will miss some time, but be full go by the end of the season. diggs, Bourne, and Douglas isn't a terrible room. See if Polk can pull his head out of his ass and Boutte gets pushed off the roster by a draft pick.

Baker is also probably gone as well. Competitive training camp.

I don't care about the over pay, what else are the patriots going to do with the cap space?

I hope Diggs goes to live with Polk and Baker in the off-season.

Diggs & Pop could not be more opposite. Pop is a slot. The Pats haven’t had an outside WR like Diggs since Moss.

Diggs was mostly in the slot last year.

I'm sure he won't be slot only here, but hes going to spend time in the slot. Douglas isn't a volume slot anyway, so it's not really a big deal. They'll both be able to make plays.
