Diggs, 31, suffered a season-ending ACL injury in Week 8 while with the Houston Texans but is on track to return for Week 1 of the upcoming season, a source told ESPN.

Up to that point, Diggs ranked seventh in the NFL in catches (47) and was second on the Texans in receiving yards (496). Quarterback C.J. Stroud had a passer rating of 104 and completed 73% of his passes when targeting Diggs.

I kind of wonder if this means Bourne is on the way out. He operates in the same part of the field as Diggs, Polk, and Douglas. Baker and Boutte at least bring some downfield ability.

Hollins and Diggs, with Douglas are guaranteed. Probably 3 spots left for Boutte, Bourne, Polk, and a draft pick.

Yea, Mack Hollins completely slipped my mind when I posted that list. Bourne is boys with Drake Maye (based on social media osmosis). Think he has an inside track to making the roster.

It will be if we don't get from him what we need to get from somebody being paid what's he's gonna be paid this year... The $26M is his to keep, no matter how underwhelmingly he performs. In fact, he now has no incentive to do Anything in 2025; not when 2026 becomes yet another contract year...

I'm punching holes in the deal but if the Pats are 9-7, on the verge of the playoffs and Diggs goes off for 8/144/2 in a Week 17 win to make the playoffs then it's worth every f-ing penny.

Diggs & Pop could not be more opposite. Pop is a slot. The Pats haven’t had an outside WR like Diggs since Moss.
