They now have 1 open roster spot on the 90 man roster.
Lorenz Metz is exempted from the 90 man total due to his Euro Player exemption

All of the "action" since the draft revolves around the two inevitable signings of AJ Brown and Jacas.

We have had hundreds of posts discussing many other possible signings, but as was the case last year, it seems that we will be disappointed.

I see few, if any, additions before the week of the "final" cut to 53. Since we are so low in the list for claims, perhaps we will trade a 6th or two for a player or players just before the final cut. Of course, it also possible that we trade away a player or two within a week of the final cut.

As an aside, we did claim and sign three players after the 2025 draft: Woods, DiVito and Gregory. We also signed Durden to the PS and then quickly moved him to the roster.

Unsigned draft picks automatically count against the 90-man roster. Been that way since 2011, if I remember correctly.

They knew Iton from last year. They’ve had time to see Shaw. They made their choice who they’ll invest development effort with.

Clowney didn't sign with Dallas until September 14th of last year. So, after week 2. And he STILL did well for the Cowboys as a pass rusher.

I think this is the backup plan in case Jacas and / or Landry **** the bed. I have to believe they also have a similar plan at ILB.

Yup.
I’m well aware of his impact last season in 13 games and limited snaps.
He would be a very nice addition, no matter what Landry and Jacas’ situations are.
