FWIW, I'm definitely not discarding the possibility of Feeley. The QB position looks very fluid at this point. But I'm with those who say it doesn't make sense as a reason for cutting O'Connell early when they're already at 75.

absolutely.....this might be all about KOC.....maybe about Walter and Hoyer.However,I just have the feeling that this is another set-piece move by BB,which he is notorious for.Something is going on here,in the background.It just doesn't make sense to me to cut KOC,just to get down to 75 or because of his last game performance.

But imagine what he can do with us instead of against us, Im just saying at this point I am worried about the back ups and who will be #2. Are you comfortable with Andrew Walter and Brian Hoyer as our back up QB's?

Walter is fine as the backup. If Brady were to go down for any extended period of time it wouldn't matter who the back up is anyway, the Pats season would be over.

NflN total access tonite reported that the Eagles have gotten inquiries from multiple teams about Feeley,however,they are waiting for a decesion from Goodell as to when Michael Vick will be eligible to be activated.They don't want to trade until they're sure about Vick,as Feeley is the primary back-up.

It's kinda like how Danny Cater was only good against the Red Sox, so **** O'Connell traded Sparky Lyle for him.

Instead of throwing away another draft pick for a marginal vet, the FO should wait for the final cut-downs, then grab somebody for free.

No.

One play, one on-field mistake does not get you cut.

If that were the standard, I can think of a lot of Patriots who would no longer be with the team at this point.
