Highlights of the day...
Terrell Williams interview at 9:45 - be interested to see if anyone has the nerve to ask about his health...
Practice 10:15
Player Interviews at 12:45

10 am Ryan Cowden, VP Player Personnel ...

Hottest topic of the day? Or just "eh, they won't meet the Bengals asking price" - rumored to be asking for a 1st... sounds steep to me for a 30/31 year old guy...

Hendrickson is 30. He turns 31 in December.

I'm not a fan of going after Hendrickson at this point. He is going to be costly and I'm not sure how much he moves the needle this year on a team that's probably a couple years out of being a true contender. What does he have left in the tank for a new contract, I am guessing he probably has two good years left. If it were Parsons then yes without question because he is only 26 and he would be around for when they make a run. I would rather we see what's out there for linemen as teams start to cutdown. I would feel better if we could possible pick up a couple veterans that could help get us through this year, that's the area with the most need. Hendrickson would be an improvement but its not a dire need...just icing on the cake.

I think it’s a huge need. Our edge rushers are mediocre at best and the depth is poor.

I disagree. It's nowhere near the top of the list for needs. Parsons all day, Hendrickson its a pass because of what he is going to want for a short window of time.
Why is the only transaction that posters favored is one near the top of our needs? Should we ignore all possible upgrades other than LG? Really?

We always have lots of needs.

If Vrabel thinks that ANY transaction will help the team win this year and over the next three, he should go forward, even suing draft picks if Vrabel thinks that the value is there.

Is it your position that we should only bring in players on 5 year contracts? There may be lots of players who might be expected to help the team over a 2-3 year period. And yes, one year contract might be signed with players who might help us in 2025 (OG, CB, LB).

What need are greater?
You have an aging Landry on one side, a disappointing White on the other, and a cast off bust Chaisson behind them. Then who?
Find me a team that is worse at edge rusher. I can’t find any.

There's a good chance that we're not going to be a very good team this year. That means a mid-round first pick. That might be worth more than a 2-3 year deal and break the bank salary for a great DE.

Swinging for Parsons and Getting Hendrickson is meh, he may play at a high level for 2 seasons.

Are there any Actual practice reports?
