We always have lots of needs.

If Vrabel thinks that ANY transaction will help the team win this year and over the next three, he should go forward, even suing draft picks if Vrabel thinks that the value is there.

Speaking of opportunity costs: the Saints drafted Hendrickson and Ryan Ramczyk with the picks BB gave them for Cooks.

Reading between the lines:

Probably not even between the lines they basically just told us Ponder is making the team.

More between the lines I didn't get the best feeling from Williams on White. I don't think it was bad or anything but also didn't sound like a player who has made that leap that we all hoped.

Does make me wonder if in combination with Wolf's comments yesterday that maybe we could get in on Hendrickson.

I went and watched Ponder in the 2 exhibition games, and I didn't see much worth getting excited about, maybe they want to entice/fool the Bengals in a Hendrickson trade

Well…. Cincy reportedly wants a player back in the deal. White could be that player if the coaching staff have soured on him. I don’t believe that to be the case, but it’s in the realm of possible.

I think it’s a huge need. Our edge rushers are mediocre at best and the depth is poor.

Harold Landry who averages 11 sacks per season the last three years is mediocre? Milton Williams, Barmore, White are mediocre? Assuming health you’re in for a rude awakening.

At this point, he should be dialing it in... he's certainly been throwing high early in games too.
That's something that requires constant discipline and practice. I hope this new QB coach knows what the heck he's doing, because JMD doesn't do that sort of detail with QB's - he's always assumed it with Brady.
He also said there were a ton of sacks... so curious if that's because of bad OL, or Maye holding it too long?

I honestly think Maye is thinking too much in this McDaniels offense and it seems his throwing motion footwork have regressed.

we gotta give Van Pelt where credit is due.

However he e do still have what’s his face working with him from last year.
So that has to help a bit.
