It's easy, and only takes a few moments. Most of the concerns are with him improving the velocity on the intermediate/sideline opposite hash throws which tended to float in, not him chucking it deep like Mahomes.Question about Mac's throwing:
While there is call for a "stronger" arm, does Mac's high arc on the deep (which, high arc=more hang time=longer pass to completion interval) suggest that it's actually a mechanic in the way he throws deep? (Suggesting that, it's not just strength)
Would love some insight! Any kind of breakdown on general throwing mechanics is also appreciated
I think those lollipop throws are fine in certain routes. He's pretty accurate with those. The improvement needs to be in deep line drive throws into tight windows that require greater velocity.Question about Mac's throwing:

Obviously Bill wouldn't come out and flat out say Malcolm can't do it anymore if that were the case but I find it encouraging he said he's about the same as before. If Malcolm can play for us like his first stint that will really make it easy to swallow losing JC.
JC obviously got more ints but I think Malcolm was still slightly better than JC for us.
Malcolm go!
I think at their best they are really close. Maybe it's a recency thing with JC having struggled a little vs a couple number 1 WRs.I'm curious why you say that Malcolm was slightly better. Is it because he had 9 more starts? Took more total snaps? Unfortunately there are no advanced stats on Pro-Football Reference for Butler's time with the Pats. But Jackson also had more PDs than Butler.

Either way the real key will be if he can be anywhere near his prime after missing a season.
Butler struggled against a few #1 WR's in his best year's as the #1 CB between 2015-2016. It happens.I think at their best they are really close. Maybe it's a recency thing with JC having struggled a little vs a couple number 1 WRs.

The int in the end zone in Buffalo was not a tight window but too much air allowed a great safety to make the play. Hopefully he can improve to put enough juice to complete those.I think those lollipop throws are fine in certain routes. He's pretty accurate with those. I blame Agholor more than Mac. It was a pathetic effort by the WR. Brady has thrown those lollipop throws in the past, but lucked out with a WR like Moss making a play. The int in the end zone in Buffalo was not a tight window but too much air allowed a great safety to make the play. Wasn't that a fairly long throw? The int in the end zone in Buffalo was not a tight window but too much air allowed a great safety to make the play. Hopefully he can improve to put enough juice to complete those.
44 yards in the air.Wasn't that a fairly long throw?
Yea, looked like Agholor was looking for a far post throw, which he could've easily caught but it was a bit under thrown. The int in the end zone in Buffalo was not a tight window but too much air allowed a great safety to make the play.
