Yep, in the same situation with the rotator cuff and labrum tear on top of disc herniation in the neck and a possible disc herniation in my lower back. Unfortunately, the Army misdiagnosed all this several months ago and I've made it worse in the meantime...ehhhh.

Another one with a rotator cuff and labrum tear. My god....

Good luck with the back, man and thanks for your service.

Jesus. Are they allowing you to stay in or have you been reassigned? Do you think you'll be looking at some kind of settlement after you're discharged?

we will be #2 if the ravens beat us........... that's why they play the games

I SHOULD be able to stay in as long as I heal enough to perform soon, which is the goal. But the process to get out medically might take longer than I have on my contract, so we will see I suppose. But honestly, I've done a lot of the things I set out to do when I joined, and I was fortunate to do so and be in one piece. Still want to accomplish some more...but I don't wanna reenlist, so the clock is ticking.

As for settlement? Nah, won't happen, but at least I get free VA care for those injuries.

If both teams score more than 17 points, we'll both fall back and the Vikings will be the #1 scoring defense in the league.

It doesn't matter I am not hanging my head on scoring defense. Not this season.

Once you initiate an MMRB you wont ETS until it is over and decided, you cant deploy, you cant PCS etc. etc. If it is bad enough that MMRB might get you a retirement if you dont have one already. PM me if you want.

Yeah best performance of the year for the defense. They probably would have given up 10 points if they didn't give the Ravens 2 short fields.
I wonder that if they had gone into the fourth down 30-6 or something if they would have put in their backups like they did a few years ago in Baltimore. I think tavon Wilson have a pick 6 in that game of tyrod Taylor.

Edit: and I just realized that Ryan mallet is their back up; how funny would that have been to see?

yeah I've been ragging on the defense all year (with some justification I thought), but I have to give them credit, they looked really good tonight against a very good Ravens offense. Really great effort from everyone. In that sense, I can sort of see why Belichick puts so much (sometimes too much- I still think Jamie Collins could have helped the team this year) emphasis on team first, all out effort players over talent. I was really proud of their effort and I'm just a fan. Late in the fourth with the game in doubt I was almost okay with a loss in the sense that sometimes you get bad breaks and at least this time the offense and the defense played their guts out and played well.

Too bad that those fumbles kept them from #1.

To be far the Pats D has been blessed with lack of turnovers and the fact most of them did not put the D in a bad spot. This game however evened a lot of that out so i will not be bringing it up again.
