If he’s traded, between that and the Super Bowl, it would be time to start questioning whether or not Belichick is still fit to run this organization. I'm seeing twitter chatter about EDELMAN being cut.
That's something I can see BB doing even if it's a really bad idea and would piss off Brady.

The only way that would happen or make any sense would be if it was shown beyond a doubt that Edelman had obtained whatever got him suspended form Guererro. So far, there is not a shred of evidence that that is the case.

BTW, Edelman issued this statement less than ten minutes ago:
"I am very sorry - I don't know what happened. I've taken many, many tests obviously over the course of my career, and nothing like this has ever happened. I apologize to the Kraft family, my coaches, teammates and fans. As this matter is being appealed, I can't say anymore but no matter what, I will be ready to play and pursue another championship with our team and for Patriots fans around the world."

If the return is right I am fine with trading Gronk and it would be another vintage BB move to sell high while you can. While Gronk is maybe the most impactful skill position player when he is on the field lets not forget that his contract is coming to an end, he will want more than we will pay him and -- maybe most importantly -- that he is one bad hit into his back away from retirement.

All good things come to an end.. and it is only a question of now or next offseason when it will happen..

They would need players to help them win this season, not upcoming picks. If we get for example a kittle plus picks fine but Gronk for straight picks would upset me. Quantity wise we’re sitting good for 2019 draft picks.

You can always trade the picks for a player who can help now. That way there are 3 teams who get what they want and not just 1
