The players are great, but the mock is very unrealistic, you should look at the prospect rankings on CBS, or another site because these picks are in some cases 100 picks off.

Peters at 32 could happen. There will be a good guard on the board at 64. No way in heck does Davis fall to 96 or McBride to the 7th round. I doubt if Tre Jackson falls to 4th. But, he could. Guards don't go high and it's a good year for them.

I'll agree with the majority. Great picks, but pretty unlikely most will be there I the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds. However the pick I'd like the most is Nick Marshall. Our most desperate need for the rest of this off season is some size at the CB, and I don't mean 6 footers. I'm talking 6'2 and above. And there aren't many I see either in FA or the draft. Marshall is an out of the box kind of selection that could really work out for the Pats

He's a guy who you could get in the 5th or 6th rounds, and get some immediate production from by him in certain situational coverages by simply putting him on a big bodied WR and saying "beat this guy to death" in press man.

I don't know much about Peters personally, but it seems to me if he's had clashes with coaches in the past that's not the kind of gamble the Patriots typically take in the early rounds. They'll gamble on guys coming off injury (Easley, Dowling, Gronk, etc) but not guys that seem to have attitude questions.

I'm still very intrigued with the idea of moving Chris Conley back to CB. BB reportedly worked out Conley personally at Georgia's pro day. Conley (6' 2" 213# with 33 3/4" arms!). Conley played both DB and WR in high school before playing WR at Georgia - somewhat similar to Richard Sherman's situation at Stanford. He ran a 4.35 40 at the Combine, with a 1.52 10 split, 45" VJ and 11' 7" BJ. Those are Patrick Peterson kind of numbers. He's a smart kid who made the SEC Academic Honor Role several times and served on the Student-Athlete leadership academy.

A 6'2" CB with 33 3/4" arm and a 45" VJ would be a terrific matchup against bigger receivers, and Conley his the short area acceleration (1.52 10-split) and long speed (4.35) as well. His 3-cone and short shuttle were ok but not great (4.30 and 7.06; Eric Rowe's numbers at 6'1" 205# were 3.97 and 6.70, for comparison).

A lot would depend on his willingness, work ethic, and technical development. But from his background, it sounds like he's the kind of kid who could make the switch successfully. I think it would be worth a shot.

If that's how the 1st 4 picks go, then I would have Hardison at the top of the list before another OG......given who is on the roster now and how the first 4 picks go, the DT would be better need/value

If thats how the first four or five picks go they could trade the rest of the draft and sign Tim Tebow and I would still be happy.
