What bothered me at the end yesterday was AVP's play calling in Texans territory. Yes, the game was out of reach but they STILL could've played with a sense of urgency to score. Instead, they just packed it in

Besides Barmore, Bentley & Peppers missing on defense a couple veterans on that side of the ball are toast.

Wise 4.1 pass rush productivity - 93rd/116th
Jonathan Jones 135.6 passer rating against - 106th/110th

We all know what Diggs can do.
A lot of the short and intermediate receptions by Dell and Diggs were indefensible - catches made a few inches off the ground. Like what Brady used to do with Edelman. Just have to say nice throw, nice catch and move on.

That said, Gonzalez didn't look himself yesterday - wonder if he was dealing with something.

Agreed.. gonzo looked step slow, his reaction time wasn't where it's been.. I believe fatigue set in... diggs is a master route technician he's shifty.. gonzo is better against bigger physical WRs..

Patience.A couple of those TD’s against us were on the refs. There is reason to hope. I think we have the QB and a capable defense. Let them get it figured out to plug the holes and see what works. Pats WILL be back!
The defense is bad. Houston drove up and down the field at will.

Yep, the Patriots organization and team has a loser’s mentality now. You’re supposed to fight until the end. Every play, every point matters if you’re in contention (tiebreakers, etc.), and if you don’t play that way you poison the whole thing.

That’s probably the most shocking thing about the new Patriots: Mayo hasn’t brought the do your job, no mistakes, compete on every play mindset that BB had. Instead he brought the looser, feel good style which has brought us to this point.

Yep; that end-of-game possession was a ****ING DISGRACE. ****ing gutless, ****ing chicken-****, ****ing LOSER mother****ers.

Fire them All, Bobby.

Was Leverett ever on the injury report this week…?

Because I thought he was replaced in the starting lineup by Charlie Brown because he’s one of the very worst OLmen in the Entire League…
Yes he was listed as « Limited participant » on Friday was listed as questionable on Saturday

Not by me I know it's not ideal but I would put Onwenu back @ RT and Robinson at Guard Jacobs is a turnstyle @ RT against anybody with substance.

How about Onemenu at RT and Siddy the Sow at RG instead? Laydown Robinson - same as the rest of Wolfie’s draft not named Maye - ****ing Sucks.

What are all the Polk apologists saying now? 6 games 10 catches 78 yards.
Is he still doing great and it’s everyone else’s fault?

I've always been a big JJ fan, but I think the injuries may be catching up to him.

Not a good day for Polk. He seemed to be getting open in prior weeks but not getting the ball. Well, now with the much-desired QB change he got the ball and forgot he needed to actually catch it. Pop and Polk were both *****ing about the QB situation - Pop immediately produced after the change, Polk did diddly squat. Hopefully this humbles the kid a little bit and makes him focus on his own shortcomings.

We kept hearing people saying Polk is doing great and showing still shots implying he was open and that excused almost non existent production and a lot of fans bought it. Maye threw 33 times yesterday and was looking downfield and Polk got nothing.

Boutte is ahead of Polk right now on my dept chart. We need to see what Thornton and Baker can do with Maye let the auditions begin.

I think it was a friggin miracle that there were no QB/center screwups given Brown stepped off a red-eye and had only two practices. Brown was the only one on the OL not to allow a pressure. Wonder if the poor run blocking partly stemmed from inexperience and lack of practice at center and QB?

You’re welcome.
