Ridiculous he could say that about anything you know if it wasn’t for us calling that blitz when we did their QB wouldn’t of threw that first down conversion.

If our runningback could of broken every tackle during the game we would

This is an excellent point.

It just never ends well when you're going down this road.
Texans did pretty well after firing Culley.
It is still one of only 32 jobs in the world.
Plenty of solid coaches better than Mayo who would jump at chance

I mean let's be real, the people who thought Mac was the only problem and replacing him was going to fix everything were high on copium. The team is hot garbage. Even if you just isolate it away from bad coaching, the line is just ****ing awful and full of guys who really should not be here. Lowe is an embarrassment and he's here because we've let a several lineman walk in free agency over the years because we didn't want to pay a preemium in an era where teams are coveting lineman. Aside from Meyers, we haven't had a single WR worth a damn in years. Polk is objectively bottom of the league by a country wide margin. Today Maye hit a WR in the hands and they basically tossed the ball to a defender.... and the sad thing is.... I've seen Patriots receivers do that multiple times over the last few years.

Mac sucked and Maye's way better, and I really hope this fanbase recognizes that despite that, the team has a serious issue with the guys around them. And as much as I wouldn't lose sleep on Mayo getting replaced for someone like Ben Johnson or whoever you want.... I REALLY REALLY hope that fans aren't just using that as another quick fix and thinking if you change the coach the trash we've had for years are magically going to get better. They will not. Lowe is still going to suck, the center is still going to be trash, the WR's are still going to have low separation rates and **** hands (and if you notice the bad coaching hasn't been stopping someone like Henry who is actually good from eating).

There's a point where no matter what happens in the front office, they do need to actually do the work to fix the team's roster. It's been neglected way too long and there's been way too man golden carrots of "well if we just get rid of this really bad QB or if we just get rid of this really bad OC or this coach" no they can suck, they suck independently of by far the biggest problem. The team has been a cesspool of untalented l
Yes but where coaching gets burned at the stake is when players who looked good last year regress in effort, in awareness, in discipline.

Everyone knew under BB it was a matter of time til the defense made a clutch play.
Who feels that way now watching this team?

I don't think many players on this team ever looked good. The coaching isn't making Hunter Henry, Antonio Gibson, Gonzalez, or White look worse. Maye looks as advertised and the rest look about the same as last year. Good players will look good despite bad coaching. Bad players can maybe be schemed better, but they won't become better.

I think the raiders are definitely gonna win a game here to end the season.

They have come close a few times. The Giants on the other hand is probably not happening.

A top 3 pick for 3 at this point with who would be picking ahead of us is amazing news. You can still trade down from 3 and get a massively talented can't miss player while accumulating picks or other prospects.

There's no way we're beating the Bills or the Chargers. That final game against the Bills is the only real variable left out there to worry about.

Pats looked good at times but always shot themselves in the foot. But…the Jets win so the Pats currently are set for a higher pick in a season where neither team is going anywhere. I would say that’s a win. Sucks to have to watch it, but big picture we need the high draft capital.

Roster has been driven down deep for years. Worst roster in the league and I doubt Mayo/Wolf are capable of digging us out of this mess. Kraft really needs to start thinking of a proven GM.
Who? Is Scott Pioli still around?

I’m laughing and crying.

I wonder if those anti tankers are still out there?

I don't wanna say I told you so but here we are.

It's the correct decision. Let's ****ing finish this **** off.
To more lousy players in the 2nd and later rounds?

I would love to see the entire staff fired and Mike Borgonzi brought in as GM or whatever the Krafts call it.

We suck. We get it. It is still better than the Mac years. What I don't get is how we aren't playing with desperation. We should be going for it on 4th down in the first quarter etc. Its like Mayo hasn't realized we have nothing to lose.
It's not better than Mac's first year.

Get rid of Mayo, AVP and Covington and start all over with the staff. Robert and Jonathan Kraft should shut the **** up if they don’t make changes. They need to make these firings the day after the season ends.

Everyone keeps making these same jokes but the Patriots are hitting on their first round picks.

You're not trading out of pick 3 without getting a extra first.

Don't even put it past the Raiders to draft Hunter at 2 and let a QB fall into our laps which some dumb ass team will have convinced them self at the combine they desperately want.
