The Dan Campbell Lions comparison is a bad one too i've heard used, they were awful in his first season but they finished 3-3 in the last 6 games and clearly got better as the season went on and by the 2nd season they were a winning team.

There's no signs of any improvement at all from this years Patriots, you could argue week 1 was the best they've looked.

Watching the game and seeing the mannerisms from ownership it's hard for me to see mayo back next season I truly believe mayo is a nice guy but not HC material. This teams worsened on defense each week. With 3 games left 2 blow out losses to come from Buffalo and a loss to the Chargers. I'm convinced mayo will not survive to get to next season. There is Drake and gonzo everything else needs to to be upgraded all around.

Mayo realized he threw AVP under the bus and quickly tried to damage control it. Too funny. Seriously though AVP can be upgraded upon and we need to look into it this offseason. Even in the playoffs teams are getting interviews for new coaches now.

This offense is going nowhere fast. And Maye isn't the problem. We saw his arm talent AND improvisation skills in back to back plays leading to our first TD against the Cardinals.

They can have a month to prepare and the results would have been the same. We don't have an NFL team in Foxborough right now. Bills tarheeels are a better team right now.

This whole Mayo situation is so obvious they're going to do what bad organizations do they're going to let him scapegoat the OC and DC and waste another year of Drake Maye.

Jerod Mayo knew he was coach in waiting for years, he knew Bill was getting fired by November so he doesn't get any OC/DC excuses from me he had plenty of time to plan who he would want on his staff.
