They were never a powerhouse by any means and they would've never gotten to the AFCCG in 2019 had the Pats had competent WR’s. Pats would’ve given them a beatdown.Hard to overlook the collapse of the Titans in Vrabel’s last couple of seasons. I hope it’s not a sign that he’s a coach who fits much better with a team that has lots of talent over a team that doesn’t, like the Patriots.

I think it says something more about what kind of impact injuries and poor drafts (especially at QB) can do to a team. In the same way that it’s fair to say that the success had a lot to do with a historically good running back and capable OCs. Vrabel should get plenty of credit and plenty of blame. But, he’s well regarded, has had success, and seems to have an understanding of how to get all parts of an organization on the same page. So, seems like a good fit to me.Hard to overlook the collapse of the Titans in Vrabel’s last couple of seasons. According to Patriot Reign, yes.Didn't Bill have a scoring system rating mental errors and Vrabel had zero one year?
Her role was elevated. Why do you think that? What did you hear or read?
Can’t spend titles. My understanding is that Wolf would give up final say if it’s in the best interest of the team and he’s not getting some big demotion. He’s not someone who is particularly power hungry, or a control freak.
I believe that Kraft was correct in taking the blame for putting Mayo in such a bad situation where he was doomed to failure in his first year. And yes, I was among those who wanted to give him a chance to see if he could learn from his mistakes. The problem I had with the knee-jerk " it doesn't look good today, so let's fire everyone so we can stay angry for another season.", is that these are the same people who would have fired BOTH Bellichik and Parcells after their first seasons at Cleveland and NY. And hey, add the BB's first season here in 2000.
That's a new one. I've never seen that reported anywhere.I believe Wolf reported to her.
It won’t be up to him to give it up if it’s taken away, which hopefully it isMy understanding is that Wolf would give up final say if it’s in the best interest of the team and he’s not getting some big demotion. He’s not someone who is particularly power hungry, or a control freak.
Doesn't mean she has say in player selection. That's a new one. I've never seen that reported anywhere.
That’s a bit misleading. They had the weakest schedule in the NFL.5. As for the DC, The Pats were 22nd in the league in points allowed but if they had allowed just one point less pergame, they would have been 15th. Cousins didn't do a bad job given the injuries and roster he was given. That being said if he gets fired then I hope Vrabl gets a guy who he knows and is dynamic. I wouldn't mind seeing Roman come back as a LB coach.
Yeah but you can have it taken away and be disgruntled or you can have it taken away and still be a team player. It won’t be up to him to give it up if it’s taken away, which hopefully it is
Right, you can have it taken away and accept you don’t deserve having it and be a team player or GTFO. His willingness has nothing to with the decision, only with whether he’s allowed to keep collecting a checkYeah but you can have it taken away and be disgruntled or you can have it taken away and still be a team player.
Bama fans HATED himI am beginning to like the idea of Tommy Rees as OC. Vrabel actually consulted on offense last year with the Browns. So he worked closely with Rees. Rees has success calling plays at the college level. He seems like he could be an up and coming OC.
So, McDaniels will come work for Thunder? So he's going to UNC??
