"the average Patriots opponent is expected to win seven or eight games in 2019, not dissimilar to last year’s exercise or the results from 2017."

Isn't that how many you would expect the average NFL team to win on average.

Especially considering that the Patriots don't play themselves, and so there 6 divisional games are going to be against teams worst than them.

The problem with these strength of schedule stats is that they always rely on the preseason projections. Those projections are based on how teams did last year.

I decided to do a search for how the Patriots' SOS ended up after the season was over, not before the season began. It is not easy to find because when you google it, you always get preseason projections, not end-of-season facts.

So, I guess this is news again in 2019.

The jets suck!
The bills suck!
The fins suck!
The patriots have the overall 3rd easiest schedule.

and many patriot fans will grind their teeth bemoaning such a tough schedule.
