Surely you could provide a link to the claim
I can't remember the link, but I saw a list of analytics personnel per team, and while some teams had as many as five or six people devoted to analytics, the Patriots only have one.

This only makes sense if they already have their guy internally.

If this true, it pretty much confirms what Curran has been touting; that Wolf is the next GM.
So why wait to give him the title?

Nobody should be surprised the draft people aren’t going anywhere. It’s been a process dating back well into last year, team would be foolish to can those people and start over. Gotta see it through, whether they stay on till after the draft is another question.

We still need time to eval if the 2023 draft was good but if it was Groh and Wolff setting the board you really can't be too harsh on them.

At this point it seems like a "B" to me

Gonzo looked like a ProBowler
White is TBD but showed flashes
Mapu is TBD but had a nice INT.
Andrews is TBD
Ryland was ugh but was a rookie. See how he does in camp/preseason under Mayo
Sow looked OK
Mafi is TBD but seemed OK sometimes
Boutte is TBD
Baringer looked like a ProBowler
Douglas did great
Speed is TBD and played a ton on ST
Bolden is TBD

They just wanted Bill gone. everything else remains the same.

I sure hope this is true. The thought of just running it back makes me sick. I know I need to be more patient but damn man, I just want to know what the personnel and coaching situation is going to be. Feel confident heading into the offseason that some changes are going to be made and that we’re not going to be repeating the same moves we have been for years. Everyone is focused on the draft, and rightly so. I’d say even more important is this free agent class. With the amount of money on the table, we’re going to be stuck with these guys for some time and we’ve gotta make sure the veterans coming in help establish the culture. We need to find a few more Judon’s and stay away from the Jonnu’s of the world.

Running it back with the same people allows them to use all the scouting stuff done. if it all works out, it was all bill who was the issue. if it doesnt, we clean house of bills men next yr .
They are guranteed to be better next yr with high pick and cap space so its easy to not have a GM.
This whole process was about jonathan kraft wanting bill out. and from all the news reporting it seems mayo played a part in this as curran's insider.
No media outlet talks about jonathan kraft including curran etc .why ?he is their source.

If it is true that we are not hiring a new GM and is just relaying on internal guys, then we have to ask ourselves if we have an ownership problem. The Krafts seem to be trying to throw every ounce of blame at Belichick and Belichick only. While I agree Belichick was a huge part of the problem, this mess was not done by one person. I have a hard time believing Belichick overruled everybody on every terrible personnel decision the last few years. This whole "stay in the family" philosophy might be the reason we struggle for another five years if not more. And Kraft can't blame Belichick this time

unless the media types are lying. the scouts wanted aj brown/deebo and Bill picked harry instead....no one is saying the scouts pick the players.

they are saying Bill picked the wrong ones. unless you think taking special teams players in the 2nd round etc. were all Scouts giving Bill bad information.
Nooooo…..the media would never make **** up. Let’s see the links to those articles. If it didn’t come from Schefty or Reiss, you are a fool to accept an anonymously sourced media report as fact.

They don't know it just like you don't know contracts.

This was actually a good thread until you decided to be a prick.
I asked you to support your opinion, you went prick.

If Mayo fails.....the finger of blame will absolutely now be pointed at the Krafts.

Just like it is right now at Henry and Werner.

...and for years at Jeremy Jacobs.

I said people I trust. Sorry but i'm not giving up a name on a ****ing messageboard and sure as hell not to you.

You didn't like my response and went full douchebag.

I went prick on you because you deserved it.

Keeping everything in house.

My sources tell me that Robert found the stopwatch that he used to time Tebucky Jones’ 40 at his Pro Day in 1998 in his attic and is planning to play a prominent role for the team during prospect workouts this spring. FUBU is in the process of designing his personalized track suit.
Scout Bobby, reporting for duty!

I can’t help if your feelings were hurt because you went overboard in an incorrect opinion.
