Well….im out
Just ridiculous.

The Seattle vs NE SB had similar prices, but only after Seattle won the NFCC. Pats fans bought tickets for 3k online, but by the time they got to AZ to pick them up Hawks fans bought them for 9k. I read that day of the game a Seattle woman and son bought 50 yard line lowers for 25k each. Which looks like a bargain today.

Those ticket prices can't be for real?

Never got to see a SB in person. With those prices maybe I won't get to anytime soon

Yes you can.

I got in twice. One SB I bought my ticket 30 minutes before KO via a ticket broker from Canada. The other time I bought my ticket from an ESPN employee from Baltimore who had to work the game at the last minute. Paid 1k each time. Face values were $700 and $900.

Fair enough

This game would have been so different w today’s K balls. We stopped them a whole bunch between 50-35 and they kicked it away. Today that would have been 3-4 more 3-pters.

Why does Denver have over twice the chance of the Patriots when both teams have the same record? I think the Sportsline Simulations are a bit lacking.

They have a bye and therefore only need to win 3 games vs 4. Seahawks have the same edge over NFC teams

Broncos have faced 5 - 2025 post season teams - PHI, GB, JAX, LAC and HOU.

And, KC with Mahomes.

DPF,

Question for you? With a chance to probably improve position last week. Could the chargers have been thinking they didn't need to play Herbert against the Broncos as they felt they could handle the patiots? Just a thought? Vrabel could be using this towards a motivational thing for the team?

Because they have a bye. If Denver and the Pats were in fact identical strengths and schedule, and the upcoming game against the Chargers was 50:50, then Denver would have exactly double the chance of the Patriots.

Mcourty said exactly this.

He speculates the reason being that NE does not have the best pass rush. Herbert has been sacked 54 times.

Chargers can absolutely win on Sunday. They have a tough defense. Defense travels. They have been taking away the big play all season. The weather won't be a factor. It's been cold in LA this week. Offense won't need to put up 30 to win. Herbert is due for a playoff win. West to east is not an issue either with it being a night game.

Herberts hand should be healed up. That was the biggest factor in the decision to play Lance. No issues with the hand moving forward.

Another factor is the Chargers don't really have a home field. Opposing teams fans fill that stadium up. They are very proficient in the silient snap count.

Everything is pointing to a close game and a Chargers win. Herbert is due. The league will most likely push the game in that direction if needed.

Maye has been sacked 47 times, but having the OL back together bodes well for his future. I want a smart sack over an INT every time.
