Patriots and Marshall have mutual interest

Doesn't he have a show or something in New York?

I can see Bill making time for that

Well then maybe you should read more about him before declaring hes an upgrade over Andrews. This is from 2014 Jets offensive line: from best to worst
Its also very selective to say that he hasnt allowed a sack in his last 33 games, for one because that stat is probably BS as Andrews one shows and because he is credited with 2.5 in his last 38.
Football | NFL | Player Stats - Nick Mangold - New York Jets - washingtonpost.com

All I saw was a link to stats that in no way back your claim up. The other link was to someone on Gang Green who also didn't back the claim up in any way. It reminds me of the claim I saw the other day on Walter Football that called Patrick Chung's play this season " anemic."

well you obviously didnt read it then, here I will post it again Jets offensive line: from best to worst . If thats too hard I will paraphrase, Nick Mangold continued to be pretty good, just not his former level. he allowed no sacks , but was 31st in run blocking for centers

Would Marshall be an upgrade over Amendola? over Floyd? At what cost? We would be talking about a one year contract with any of these players.

We have three receivers: Edelman, Hogan and Mitchell. We need a 4th. We might carry a fifth, or not.

I did read it and it was a claim with absolutely nothing to support it. You will have to better than that if you expect people to believe it.

Would much rather have Floyd, Gordon, Desean Jackson opposed to Marshall

where are you getting your info that he is a good run blcoker because I provided mine that he wasnt and another here 3 biggest roster needs for Jets in 2017 | PFF

2016 NFL Player Rankings: Offensive Linemen

"10. Nick Mangold, New York Jets
A long-time Pro Bowl player who plays with excellent body control and balance. Crafty, smart and alert."

Ranked 10th going into last season, where he got hurt. No sign of Andrews in the top 20. Admittedly, it was his rookie year.

Marshall would be 1/2 along with Edelman. He would make the offense better.
Problem is he is a bad teammate will probably not work to getbin the same page with Brady and had a history of never winning and leaving under bad terms.

It's a shame that this report confirms there is 0 interest between the Pats and Marshall. I believe he could have been great here. He's probably signing with Baltimore.

I was asked to show stats but I guess if the NFL website says it then it must be true. Im sure nobodies reputation on the Line ever raised them beyond where there level of play had been. In the end it doesnt matter, I dont think that Mangold will have any interest in coming here because he would have to compete for the starting gig.

i guess you have those alternate facts. I'll just stick with actual ones

PFF no no no
Honestly I try to avoid it but for the Line, its difficult to find anyone who gives a grade on individual Lineman performance.

First of all that article is from 2013.
Second its from PFF so it is meaningless
Third being from 2013 makes it even more meaningless as PFF socks now bit sucked even worse in the past.
In 2012 they rated unanimous MVP tom Brady 35th.

Also why did Volin get a verified check on his twitter? I think his account would have more credibility without one.

So since you can't find a good source you rely on an incompetent one?

I rather take Jeffrey from the Bears. I just can't stand Marshall and his consistent bashing of the Pats.

Apart from the fact he said he wouldn't want to be here as a rental player already (and quite frankly, he'll never be a core guy), the guy is just a total locker room cancer.

It speaks volumes (screams volumes actually) when Sheldon Richardson of all people is calling you out for being an *******. Like holy ****.

I don't buy this report, but you never know. It might happen. But I'll be really worried about the 2017 season if it does. He's that poisonous that he could ruin an entire season.
