Its also very selective to say that he hasnt allowed a sack in his last 33 games, for one because that stat is probably BS as Andrews one shows and because he is credited with 2.5 in his last 38.
Football | NFL | Player Stats - Nick Mangold - New York Jets - washingtonpost.com
where are you getting your info that he is a good run blocker because I provided mine that he wasnt and another here 3 biggest roster needs for Jets in 2017 | PFFFrom the logic of "some people", of course!
.
well you obviously didnt read it then, here I will post it again Jets offensive line: from best to worst . If thats too hard I will paraphrase, Nick Mangold continued to be pretty good, just not his former level. he allowed no sacks , but was 31st in run blocking for centersAll I saw was a link to stats that in no way back your claim up.
PFF no no nowhere are you getting your info that he is a good run blcoker because I provided mine that he wasnt and another here 3 biggest roster needs for Jets in 2017 | PFF
You, honestly, believe anything Volin writes?

Marshall would be 1/2 along with Edelman. He would make the offense better.Would Marshall be an upgrade over Amendola? over Floyd? At what cost? We would be talking about a one year contract with any of these players.
We have three receivers: Edelman, Hogan and Mitchell. We need a 4th. We might carry a fifth, or not.
I was asked to show stats but I guess if the NFL website says it then it must be true. Im sure nobodies reputation on the Line ever raised them beyond where there level of play had been. In the end it doesnt matter, I dont think that Mangold will have any interest in coming here because he would have to compete for the starting gig.2016 NFL Player Rankings: Offensive Linemen
"10. Nick Mangold, New York Jets
A long-time Pro Bowl player who plays with excellent body control and balance. Crafty, smart and alert."
Ranked 10th going into last season, where he got hurt. No sign of Andrews in the top 20. Given it was his rookie year.
i guess you have those alternate facts. I'll just stick with actual onesI did read it and it was a claim with absolutely nothing to support it. You will have to better than that if you expect people to believe it.
Honestly I try to avoid it but for the Line, its difficult to find anyone who gives a grade on individual Lineman performance.PFF no no no
First of all that article is from 2013.well you obviously didnt read it then, here I will post it again Jets offensive line: from best to worst . If thats too hard I will paraphrase, Nick Mangold continued to be pretty good, just not his former level. he allowed no sacks , but was 31st in run blocking for centers
So since you can't find a good source you rely on an incompetent one?Honestly I try to avoid it but for the Line, its difficult to find anyone who gives a grade on individual Lineman performance.
