That Cardinal team was a good team

They were on the road playing in the snow in foxboro. Big advantage to New England.

An away playoff game at Pittsburgh would be a much steeper challenge. What in Matt cassell a resume makes you believe he is capable of pulling off a win like that?

Did you see what the steelers did to New England that year in foxboro?

There have been plenty of better teams than 08 that failed to win the Super Bowl like 76 07 10 06 12. That 2010 team was one of my favorites I thought we were destined to win it all that year, most painful playoff loss for me.

Agree so much about 2010. Really felt like we were The Chosen Ones all season. Then.........0-1 in the playoffs at home against a team you just beat 45-3. Mark Sanchez. No INT streak ends early. Game not even close.

Younger means better if we find the right talent. We just struggle to do that.
i mean yeah, ideally you would get the young and talented guy/productive guy.

It was a year where the defensive issues were masked by their tendency to create turnovers, but those issues were fully on display during that particular game. The turnovers also dried up at the wrong time of the season.

It would be nice to see that kind of balance in the running game again. It had its benefits. Thankfully, our defense is in much better shape.
