duh. really? wtfHe WAS starting for the 49ers and went 1-10. So I think they've had their fill of him.

Its not about Kaepernick it s about getting out from under the league disciplinary process and getting a fairer deal in palceNo NFL player is going to sacrifice a single paycheck for Colin Kaepernick, let alone engage in a "long, protracted" work stoppage.
Article 46 is another issue that you won't see the overwhelming majority of players willing to sacrifice paychecks for an extended period of time. Its not about Kaepernick it s about getting out from under the league disciplinary process and getting a fairer deal in palce
I don’t feel strongly either way over the issue. But it’s tougher on a team when a quarterback is leading the effort.Thats where I come down on this issue as well. The NFL is the private sector. They have a right to suspend or fire players for not standing during the NA. With that said they can certainly expose themselves to the wrath of society's own rules.
Where it gets muddy is they are allowing players to sit and kneel when that is what Kap would do.
I feel strongly in the sense the govt cannot tell a private company who to hire but with programs like affirmative action it can.I don’t feel strongly either way over the issue. But it’s tougher on a team when a quarterback is leading the effort.
Just my opinion
No teams want disruptive players...especially a disruptive QB.
Has Hoyer or McGloin ever been disruptive to their teams? THATS the reason no one wants Kap. All teams want in their most important player (and all players), is complete dedication to be a contributor to the teams success.
It’s one thing to have issues in your private life, but another to bring focus to things unrelated to winning football games onto the field of play
He reaped what he sowed. Nfl teams have every right to pass on this guy. Employers don’t have to explain why they don’t hire you either.
I highly doubt Patriot fans would want to see Kap signed. Just too much dramaIn a very vanilla world this might make sense, however in a real world teams owe their fans to opportunity to view the best possible team they can field.
IMO the disruption is more about the media who is over reporting this with stories rife with conjecture and half truths..
All the while players like Greg Hardy, Adrian Peterson, Josh Gordon et al get a second chances in the NFL.. they only beat women and children or drink before they play... they really deserve that opportunity.. Kapernick makes political statements and the world gets their panties in a bunch.
How do you measure disruption?? Did players on SF indicate that he caused conflict for their team??
All they have to do is work him out, and then tell him why they are not signing him.. get your popcorn out Kapernick will either settle this lawsuit or if it goes to trial win this case.. do not see the latter as the owners do not want their private world on display for the world to see.

Well, considering he was benched for Blaine Gabbert twice - I'm pretty sure the 49ers wouldn't be asking him back.PS: he probably would be starting for the 49ers

No. The numbers and performance bear out that he's regressed mightily from where he was in 2012 and 2013. He hasn't improved at all in any facet of his game. He throws the same laser passes - still can't read a defense, still is too quick to run and leave the pocket - still can't check out of bad plays - still can't complete even 60% of his passes. There has been an effort to say Kapernick has no talent or his talent is diminishing is all ********,

Watch that, and tell me he still deserves a job. That's inexcusable.
Torrey Smith didn't look happy.. I don't think I would either if it took away a chance at a 99 yd TD..... uncovered..
Here's the problem and it lies totally with the coach Chip Kelly.( I'm no Kap fan but) I'm assuming this play was from 2016. Kelly didn't allow his QBs to audible at the line. Not in Philly ( with Bradford* and Foles) or with SF. So if you're the defense and you know it's a running play and he can't audible out of it, leave the receivers uncovered. Kap should have said " screw it" and thrown to either of the receivers. What's Kelly going to do? Yell at him for a 90 + yard TD play.... Probably...Both receivers were calling for the ball pre-snap. Both uncovered.
Also, note the 10-man box. High School QBs wouldn't run that play as called.
duh. really? wtf
so dumb. He sucks, but better than lots on teams. That is why he is not in the League. That's why he doesn't have a job.

Are there audibles in Chip Kelly’s offense?
Eagles Quarterback Sam Bradford Likes Freedom to Audible in Doug Pederson's Offense
* Keep in mind, Bradford was a 4 year veteran at the time, not a rookie, not allowed to audible......
Here's the thing.
I'm still waiting for the former teammate and/or coach to come out strongly - and say that Kaepernick should have a job in the NFL.
It hasn't happened. That should speak volumes to everyone.
I think his anthem protest was a con to keep his job in San Francisco, when previous to that he had shown no interest or opinion on such matters - until he was about to lose his job. That's my opinion, and that's neither here nor there when it comes to this point.
Had Kaepernick not gone to the media and told them he was protesting - had that never happened, he'd be in the same exact position that he is now. He's a bad teammate, selfish, disconnected from the team. That's all you've ever heard about the guy since Harbaugh left.
I've said this a million times - I support the protests of the NFL players, and in terms of politics, I align more with Kaepernick than I don't.
But he's a bad QB. That's why he doesn't have a job. This isn't the frickin droid people are looking for.
Yes he is an awful qbDo you have evidence where SF players showed disdain for his stance?? On Oct. 29th about 30 SF players knelt for the anthem, are they "selfish and disconnected"?? On Nov. 5 Eric Reid, Eli Harold and Marquise Goodwin knelt for the anthem, are they selfish and disconnected??
Do not see a "bad" quarterback, what I see is a QB who experienced several coaching changes and playing for a piss poor team?? He had some diminished ability, but probably better than most NFL back ups.. wonder how much coaching changes and overall poor team management played into his diminished ability.
Is he better than Matt McGloin and many of the other backups in the NFL?? Without regard would things be different if teams brought him in for a workout to assess where he is, then told him they did not fit their system or did not have the arm strength or something else, if they don't then it looks like there might be collusion here.. the only team he did get invited to is Seattle.
